San Francisco 49ers S Jaquiski Tartt (ribs) and DT Jullian Taylor (elbow) were unable to practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 14 against the New Orleans Saints. WR Dante Pettis (knee), OT Joe Staley (finger) and WR Marquise Goodwin (knee, foot) were limited Friday, Dec. 6, and are listed as questionable. RB Matt Breida (ankle), DE Dee Ford (quad, hamstring), DL D.J. Jones (ankle), TE George Kittle (knee, ankle), WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder), WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) and CB Richard Sherman (knee) were able to practice in full Friday and have been removed from the injury report.

Footballguys view: Staley's status is key for an offensive line that will need all hands on deck to slow down a hot Saints pass rush.

  49ers | San Francisco's Week 13 injury report    Fri Nov 29, 05:46 PM

San Francisco 49ers DL Dee Ford (quad, hamstring) and WR Dante Pettis (knee) did not practice Friday, Nov. 29, and have been ruled out for Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens. RB Matt Breida (ankle) and OT Joe Staley were limited Friday and are listed as questionable. TE George Kittle (knee, ankle), WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder) and WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) were also limited Friday but have been removed from the injury report. PK Robbie Gould (quad) and DT Jullian Taylor (jaw) practiced in full all week and also no longer appear on the injury report.

Footballguys view: Breida could be back this week to downgrade Raheem Mostert's value, but he's not trustworthy yet, especially not against the tough Ravens defense. Staley's return would be a boon for Jimmy Garoppolo as he'll face a tough Ravens secondary and need time to break them down. Kittle, Samuel, Sanders appear to be out of the woods with the injuries that made them game-time decisions last week.

49ers | Dante Pettis falling out of favor?    Tue Nov 12, 07:09 PM

San Francisco 49ers WR Dante Pettis is running out of time to prove his worth in head coach Kyle Shanahan's offense. 'The more he doesn't take advantage of his opportunities, the less opportunities he gets,' Shanahan said Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Footballguys view: Emmanuel Sanders was banged up with a ribs injury on Monday night and it didn't matter for Pettis. He was targeted three times but he was held without a catch. The 49ers gave Kendrick Bourne a larger opportunity than Pettis.

San Francisco 49ers WR Dante Pettis is listed as a No. 1 receiver on the team's unofficial depth chart heading into Week 1, starting opposite WR Marquise Goodwin.

Footballguys view: Pettis has the speed to beat a defense deep. We'll see if he can show more savvy as a route-runner on underneath routes. We like Pettis in dynasty formats, but he's nothing but a super deep bench stash in most re-draft leagues...or just leave him on the waiver wire and watch to see if the 49ers passing game can be better than expected.

San Francisco 49ers WR Dante Pettis is a 'student of the game' and 'can line up anywhere,' according to NFL Network's Michael Silver. As such, Silver expects Pettis to be a key contributor in 2019.

Footballguys view: Pettis has speed to burn and can get by defenders in the blink of an eye. He could get around 55 catches and 800-plus yards in year two. Fantasy GMs should look at him as a WR3 with upside. His current ADP is WR29 (6.09) in 12-team PPR leagues.

49ers | Dante Pettis turning heads    Sun Jun 16, 08:37 PM

San Francisco 49ers WR Dante Pettis has impressed QB Jimmy Garoppolo and head Kyle Shanahan with his new physique and attention to detail. 'Dante's body is maturing,' Garoppolo said. 'He's coming out of breaks with power, he has speed.''He worked while he was away,' Shanahan said. 'He tried to get bigger. He worked more at his routes and he came here with the idea of 'Hey, I'm not just coming here to get better back in shape, I'm coming here to get better.''

Footballguys view: Pettis is a dynamic player who can create space with his quickness, route-running and run-after-the-catch ability. While not a speedster, Pettis plays with plenty of guile and can be one of Garoppolo's favorite targets in 2019. If Pettis caught 50-plus catches this season we would not be surprised. Pettis has a current ADP of WR34 (8.03) in 12-team PPR leagues.

Footballguys view: The 49ers know that Pettis can be a part of their young WR corps of the future. Pettis showed off his trademark speed this year and made some downfield plays for the team.
