WR Golden Tate (calf) also did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. LB Cam Brown (illness) was added to the injury report and did not practice Friday, Jan. 1; he is listed as questionable. TE Evan Engram (calf), S Jabrill Peppers (ankle) and WR Sterling Shepard (rib) were limited in practice all week but no longer appear on the injury report. CB Darnay Holmes (knee) and QB Daniel Jones (hamstring) practiced in full all week and have also been removed from the injury report.

| Footballguys view: Nobody is taking reps away from David Johnson, so Penny is better off playing fullback because it gives him a better chance to stick on the roster. It can't hurt for Johnson to have an extra Blocker on inside runs either. Johnson is going to be a top fantasy back yet again this year. |

Arizona Cardinals RB Elijhaa Penny is expected to have a role in the offense in Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts with RB David Johnson (wrist) on the shelf.
| Footballguys view: Undrafted out of Idaha in 2016, Penny spent his rookie season on the Cardinals practice squad. He's a big back (6'2" 230 pounds) who can be used as a receiver out of the backfield in addition to a grinder between the tackles. Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians has previously stated Penny did a good job on the scout team in 2016. Penny is a deep dynasty prospect we've been monitoring, but it may be difficult for him to get mixed into action on Sunday as he's fourth on the depth chart behind Kerwynn Williams, Andre Ellington and Chris Johnson. |
