| Our view: Kevin Walter is active and expected to play a heavy role this week. Still, it's smart to be wary of wide receivers returning from hamstring issues. Use him as a WR3 only. Jacoby Jones had earned more playing time with his efforts last week and should see plenty of time in 3WR sets with Andre Davis inactive again this week. |

The Houston Texans have declared WR Andre' Davis, OL Antoine Caldwell, OT Chris L. White, QB Dan Orlovsky, CB Jacques Reeves, WR Kevin Walter, DL Shaun Cody inactive for Week 2.
| Our view: Both Andre Davis and Kevin Walter down for Houston this week. Walter was able to practice some this week, but was limited after a full Wednesday practice. As hamstring injuries tend to linger for wideouts, this decision may be better for Walter owners than it first appears. Jacoby Jones will draw the start with Walter and Davis out, but Matt Schaub has only Andre Johnson to rely on at WR against a stout Tennessee defense. Expect more targets for Steve Slaton and Owen Daniels. |

Drew Dougherty, of HoustonTexans.com, reports Houston Texans QB Rex Grossman has closed the gap on QB Dan Orlovsky for the team's No. 2 quarterback duties. Grossman led the Texans on five scoring drives during the preseason and was 9-of-16 for 197 yards passing.
| Our view: As crazy as it sounds, Grossman was actually more impressive than Orlovsky when the backups got to play for Chicago and Detroit last year. The chances of seeing Grossman play this year are going up, which is great for the entertainment side of watching football. |

| Our view: This is a very important training camp battle to monitor because Schaub has not been able to play all 16 games in either of his two seasons as the starter in Houston. We think no matter who wins, the Texans will likely lose when Schaub misses time. |

| Our view: He can't be worse than Dan Orlovsky. Grossman actually led the Bears to a dramatic win over the Lions last year and accounted for four touchdowns, so maybe he'll have marginal fantasy value if (when) Matt Schaub gets hurt. |
