Detroit Lions DT Levi Onwuzurike (back) recently received clearance to start running as part of his rehab, and head coach Dan Campbell said Onwuzurike may be cleared for football activities at some point during training camp.
| Footballguys view: Onwuzurike was a second round pick in 2021, but he hasn't paid off on the pick yet. He aggravated a back injury in camp last year and ended up having back surgery in October, costing him the entire season. Campbell wasn't able to put a timeline on his return, but said the team is hoping he'll back during camp. The Lions head coach was more pessimistic about Onwuzurike in April, casting doubt on his future in the NFL, so this is good news for the team, who spent another second round pick on a defensive tackle (Brodric Martin) this year. |

| Footballguys view: Ragnow practicing is good news after his groin injury raised the specter of a long absence earlier in the week. The team has already lost a guard and a backup guard, losing one of the best centers in the game would have been a big blow.
