Free-agent RBs Robert Hughes (Cardinals) and Rajion Neal (Steelers) were signed by the Cleveland Browns Thursday, Aug. 4. FB Patrick Skov was waived.
| Footballguys view: Hughes played all 16 games for the Arizona Cardinals in 2014 (albeit normally on special teams) but wasn't active once in 2015. He's strictly a short yardage back and is nothing special. Rajion Neal was last seen on the Dolphins' practice squad, after being cut by the Packers where he had been allegedly in the mix for getting the RB3 position. He's good on passing downs but isn't anyone you would use to carry the rock as a lead back. Both are so-so talents who are unlikely to beat out Isaiah Crowell or Duke Johnson for snaps. |
