Bears | Adrian Wilson will compete with Ryan Mundy    Mon Jun 23, 05:32 PM

Chicago Bears SS Adrian Wilson will compete with SS Ryan Mundy for playing time. Mundy has seen the majority of time at strong safety during the offseason workout program.

Footballguys view: Wilson may have lost a step, but we'd give him the advantage of Mundy here. The Bears were desperate for safety help this offseason. We could see Wilson starting alongside Shane Vereen in the defensive backfield.

Polamalu missed a second straight day of practice Tuesday, Dec. 21. FS Ryan Mundy is expected to make a seconds straight start.

Footballguys view: The Steelers are trying to save Polamalu for the playoffs. If they can win their final two games vs. Carolina and Cleveland, Polamalu will have had four weeks rest going into their first playoff game.
