Eagles | Make roster moves to get to 53 players    Sat Sep 3, 06:29 PM

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced they released S Jamar Adams, RB Eldra Buckley, WR Chad Hall, DT Anthony Hargrove, WR Johnnie Lee Higgins, OT Austin Howard, S Marlin Jackson, DT Derek Landri, TE Donald Lee, LB Greg Lloyd Jr., OL Mike McGlynn, WR Sinorice Moss, DE Daniel Te'o-Nesheim, OT Fenuki Tupou and OT Reggie Wells. The team has placed DE Brandon Graham (knee) on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list, which means he will have to sit out the first six games of the season.   Giants | Moss and Hagan sticking?    Sat Sep 5, 02:33 PM

Ralph Vacchiano, of The New York Daily News, reports it appears the New York Giants are keeping WRs Sinorice Moss and Derek Hagan on the final 53-man roster.

Footballguys view: Moss and Hagan were rumored to be fighting for the final spot in the WR corps, but when the Giants decided to once again carry only 2 QBs, it opened up the possibility of keeping both players. Moss performed well in the Giants preseason finale, scoring two touchdowns in their game against the Patriots.

Giants | Moss scores two touchdowns Thursday    Fri Sep 4, 12:24 AM

The Associated Press reports New York Giants WR Sinorice Moss had three receptions for 35 yards with two touchdowns during the team's preseason finale Thursday, Sept. 3.

Footballguys view: Moss made a splash in the preseason finale, but it might not be enough to make the Giants final roster at the crowded WR position. If he gets released by the Giants, he'll surely get picked up elsewhere.

Dolphins | Should take a look at S. Moss if cut    Thu Sep 3, 12:35 PM

Armando Salguero, from the Miami Herald, reports NFL teams must cut to 53 players by Saturday and all over the league players that are on the outside looking in are sitting around saying, "Wa happen?" Giants receiver Sinorice Moss is one of those. According to this article in today's New York Daily News, the 25-year-old Moss is no longer sure if he has a future with the Giants. If he's cut and passes waivers, the Dolphins might look at him because he's much more polished, almost as fast, much more proven, and a better wide receiver than say Chris Williams -- a guy the Dolphins coaching staff was seriously considering for a roster spot before punts started bounding off his head.

Footballguys view: This is just speculation by Salguero, but it makes a lot of sense. Moss played for Parcells' disciple Tom Coughlin, and played his college ball for the Miami Hurricanes. Sinorice Moss should find another home quickly if in fact he is cut by the New York Giants.

Giants | S. Moss feels roster spot in jeopardy    Thu Sep 3, 12:21 PM

Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News, reports New York Giants WR Sinorice Moss feels his days with the team may be numbered and that he could be a final roster cut. 'If that is the case, I have no say so in that,' Moss said. 'I don't know what it is. I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing, keep working hard. This week is a new week, a new opportunity for myself to go out and make some plays.'

Giants | Battle for last WR position between Moss and Hagan    Thu Sep 3, 11:31 AM

Mike Garafolo, from the Newark Star-Ledger, reports that with David Tyree sidelined with a hamstring injury, it's likely down to a matchup between Sinorice Moss and Derek Hagan for the final roster spot. Both impressed during training camp, but neither has done much in the preseason games. Hagan has three catches for 31 yards and Moss has grabbed two passes for only 10 yards. They'll both get extended playing time Thursday night and the one who has the better game might very well wind up being the one who's still a Giant come Sunday.

Footballguys view: Sinorice Moss was the star of minicamp - if that counts for anything. A hamstring injury forced him to fall behind in training camp, and now he's battling for a spot on the team. Hagan, a former third-round pick with the Dolphins, has failed to live up to his potential during his pro career. He's shown flashes of big time ability, but lacks the consistency necessary to make a real impact in the NFL. This race is neck and neck, so the player who has the best performance in the preseason finale should win the job.

Giants | Moss barely plays Saturday    Sun Aug 30, 01:02 PM

Paul Schwartz and Mark Cannizzaro, of the New York Post, reports New York Giants WR Sinorice Moss barely played in the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 29. Moss did not make an appearance in the game until the third quarter when he returned a kickoff. Moss did not know why he was held out of the game. "You have to ask the coach. I have no explanation. I really don't know what to say about what happened. When I did step on the field, I went out and did my best."

Footballguys view: Moss was clearly frustrated about his lack of playing time after the game, and many think this could be the end of the line for Moss with the Giants. Earlier this year, Moss was the star of minicamp until a hamstring injury forced him to fall behind in training camp.

Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News, reports New York Giants WR Sinorice Moss (hamstring) said he will be able to play in the team's preseason game Monday, Aug. 17.

Giants | Moss says he will be ready for camp    Thu Jun 18, 05:16 PM

The Associated Press reports New York Giants WR Sinorice Moss (hamstring) said his hamstring injury is not serious and will be ready for the start of training camp.

Footballguys view: "It's unfortunate it's going to keep him out," coach Tom Coughlin said. "He was getting a lot of snaps and he was doing something with them." Moss was the star of minicamp before going down with a hamstring injury earlier this week. Nearly every spot in the Giants WR corps is up for grabs, so it will be interesting to see if Sinorice can finally live up to expectations.

Giants | Moss to miss rest of minicamp    Wed Jun 17, 02:57 PM

Tom Rock, of Newsday, reports New York Giants WR Sinorice Moss (hamstring) will miss the rest of the team's mandatory minicamp because of a strained hamstring. It is not known if Moss will be ready for the start of training camp.

Footballguys view: The injury didn't appear to be serious yesterday, but the Giants are going to take extra precaution just in case. It's sad news because so far in minicamp Sinorice Moss has been stealing the show. We'll see if he can prevent this hamstring injury from lingering.

Giants | Sinorice Moss injured    Tue Jun 16, 10:11 PM

After having a sparkling morning practice in the Fieldhouse, WR Sinorice Moss suffered some sort of leg or groin injury on his final catch in the afternoon workout on the grass field. Moss caught a pass and apparently had his cleats catch in the grass. He knew something was wrong right away and went to visit the trainers.

Footballguys view: The injury isn't considered serious, and he walked off the practice field with head coach Tom Coughlin. Moss has been the breakout star of the spring minicamp, so it's great news that he shouldn't miss much practice time.
