Buffalo Bills team executive Dan Morgan on Saturday, May 8, was hired as the Carolina Panthers' assistant general manager.
Footballguys view: Morgan is back with the Panthers, this time in the front office. A first-round pick in the 2001 NFL draft, Morgan played with the Panthers through the 2007 season. After retiring, Morgan spent almost seven years as the Director of Pro Personnel for the Seahawks. In Seattle, he worked with new Panthers GM Scott Fitterer. Morgan has spent the last three years with the Buffalo Bills. |

'I have the speed and the athletic ability to play on the outside, but it's definitely a different feeling out there than in the middle. It's actually kind of fun. I was real excited to get back out there,' Morgan said.
