Buffalo Bills team executive Dan Morgan on Saturday, May 8, was hired as the Carolina Panthers' assistant general manager.

After retiring, Morgan spent almost seven years as the Director of Pro Personnel for the Seahawks. In Seattle, he worked with new Panthers GM Scott Fitterer. Brian Allee-Walsh, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints LB Dan Morgan said working at outside linebacker feels different after playing several years at middle linebacker but is excited about the situation. 'I have the speed and the athletic ability to play on the outside, but it's definitely a different feeling out there than in the middle. It's actually kind of fun. I was real excited to get back out there,' Morgan said.
