Players include WRs Domenik Hixon, Brandon LaFell and Ted Ginn Jr., QBs Derek Anderson and Jimmy Clausen, TE Ben Hartsock, OL Jordan Gross, OL Geoff Hangartner, OL Travelle Wharton, OL Garry Williams, OL Bruce Campbell, DE Greg Hardy, DT Colin Cole, LBs Jordan Senn, Jason Williams and Dan Connor, S Quintin Mikell, S Michael Mitchell, CBs Captain Munnerlyn and Drayton Florence, and K Graham Gano.

Rams | Mikell not expected to return    Thu Jul 18, 09:50 PM

The St. Louis Rams are not expected to re-sign free-agent SS Quintin Mikell. If the team did re-sign Mikell, he would be a backup and would have to be willing to play on special teams.

Footballguys view: No surprise here. The Panthers have been nosing around Mikell this offseason and that is his likely destination. Mikell was a top 5 Safety last year according to Pro Football Focus and he'd be an upgrade for the Panthers at the position. If the Panthers don't add Mikell we'll see Mike Mitchell, D.J. Campbell, and UDFA Robert Lester compete for the starting strong safety job.
