Redskins | Terry McLaurin out Thursday    Thu Dec 26, 01:32 PM

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin (concussion) is not participating in practice Thursday, Dec. 26.

Footballguys view: Washington may be without the rookie receiver in Week 17. He still needs to be cleared from the concussion protocol if he wants to play on Sunday. McLaurin is less than 100 yards from 1,000 yards receiving in 2019. Perhaps he could get out there and go for the mark against the Cowboys.

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin is capable of running routes from different spots in the opinion of interim head coach Bill Callahan, who suggested McLaurin will move around the information a little more than he has in previous weeks.

Footballguys view: McLaurin is facing a Jets defense that has allowed ten scores to wideouts in the last three games. He's a must play this weekend.

Redskins | Terry McLaurin catches four passes    Sun Nov 3, 04:44 PM

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin caught four passes for 39 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 9. He was targeted six times during the game.

Footballguys view: This game was played in strong winds at times and McLaurin saw Tre'Davious White in his grill all day. It's not a bad showing, and McLaurin will get the the hapless Jets corners out of the bye so don't drop him yet if your bench allows it.

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin caught four passes for 39 yards during the team's Week 8 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin caught one pass for 11 yards against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7. He was targeted two times during the game.

Redskins | Terry McLaurin goes for 100 yards, two TDs    Sun Oct 13, 04:18 PM

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin registered four receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins.

Footballguys view: Case Keenum's return and Xavien Howard being inactive combined to create a big day for McLaurin. Washington has a tough matchup against the 49ers next week, but McLaurin should be a WR3/Flex consideration as long as Keenum is starting.

Redskins | Terry McLaurin targeted seven times    Sun Oct 6, 05:46 PM

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin posted three receptions for 51 yards on seven targets in Week 5 against the New England Patriots.

Footballguys view: McLaurin played despite being a game time decision, and considering the matchup it wasn't a terrible fantasy result. He might see a lot of Xavien Howard next week but assuming he has a good week of practice, he'll be back in WR3/Flex consideration.

Redskins | Terry McLaurin could play in Week 5    Sun Oct 6, 08:37 AM

The Washington Redskins are optimistic that WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) will be able to play in Week 5's game against the New England Patriots, according to a source. He will participate in pregame warmups before a final decision is made about his status.

Footballguys view: McLaurin has a risk of re-injury and being shut down by Stephon Gilmore if he does play. Colt McCoy at quarterback probably doesn't help his cause.

Redskins | Terry McLaurin's status in question    Fri Oct 4, 04:53 PM

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 4, and is listed as questionable for Week 5.

Footballguys view: McLaurin will likely see a lot of Stephon Gilmore if he does play, and Colt McCoy will be the starting quarterback, so he's a bench this week if he's active as long as you have a viable alternative.

Redskins | Week 5 injury report for Washington    Fri Oct 4, 04:17 PM

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (concussion), LB Josh Harvey-Clemons (hamstring), TE Jordan Reed (concussion) and TE Brandon Scherff (ankle) were unable to practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 5 against the New England Patriots. QB Case Keenum (foot), WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) and C Chase Roullier (knee) were limited in practice Friday, Oct. 4, and are listed as questionable. CB Josh Norman (knee) returned to a full practice Friday and is also listed as questionable. DLs Matt Ioannidis (foot) and Da'Ron Payne (knee) fully participated in practice Friday and have been removed from the injury report.

Footballguys view: Jeremy Sprinkle will get the start at tight end with the top two options out. Washington will be missing their best interior offensive line against the Patriots relentless defense with Scherff sidelined.

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice again Thursday, Oct. 3.

Footballguys view: McLaurin getting in a full practice tomorrow would be comforting, but do you really want to start him vs. Stephon Gilmore and New England? Sitting him might be the wisest route for this team.

The Washington Redskins have declared CB Aaron Colvin, QB Colt McCoy, WR Terry McLaurin, OG Brandon Scherff, TE Jordan Reed, LB Cassanova McKinzy and C Chase Roullier inactive for Week 4.

Footballguys view: Robert Davis, Kelvin Harmon, and Steven Sims will get more play with McLaurin out and we shouldn't consider him a sure thing for next week's game vs. New England. Scherff and Rouiller being out means Washington only has 2 of their projected starters on the offensive line healthy for this game.

Redskins | Week 4 injury report for Washington    Fri Sep 27, 03:16 PM

Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (concussion) and C Chase Roullier (knee) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 4 versus the New York Giants. OG Brandon Scherff (ankle) and WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) did not practice Friday, Sept. 27, and are listed as questionable. QB Case Keenum (foot), CB Quinton Dunbar (knee), LB Cassanova McKinzy (hip), DL Jonathan Allen (knee), QB Colt McCoy (fibula) and CB Josh Norman (foot) fully participated in practice Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Footballguys view: Two starting linemen are either out or questionable along with the #1 receiver and tight end. While the Giants defense is very beatable, Washington's already shorthanded offense could be its own worst enemy Sunday.

Redskins | Terry McLaurin gets questionable tag    Fri Sep 27, 02:10 PM

Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) has been listed as questionable for Week 4 against the New York Giants.

Redskins | Terry McLaurin listed as limited    Thu Sep 26, 05:27 PM

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

Footballguys view: There's no reason to think McLaurin will be out on Sunday, but his practice participation tomorrow is key. If he can't go, Paul Richardson will get even more looks against a weak Giants secondary, and Trey Quinn could also be a bigger part of the offense. Look for Kelvin Harmon to get some more snaps if fellow rookie McLaurin is out.

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin caught five of his seven targets for 125 yards and a touchdown in a 32-27 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1.

Footballguys view: McLaurin did a good job of using his size and speed to make plays for Washington. He seemed to have good chemistry with QB Case Keenum, and McLaurin has played his way into flex-worthy status...if not more...for Fantasy GMs with this debut.

Redskins | Terry McLaurin poised for key role early    Mon Aug 12, 03:13 PM

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin is a 'lock' for a role on offense early this season, according to MMQB's Albert Breer, who added that the coaching staff loves McLaurin's speed, toughness and versatility.

Footballguys view: There's a lot to like about McLaurin's game and his situation. First, his route running is quite nuanced for a young player. Second, McLaurin does a good job of winning contested catches and shows strength at the end of the route. Finally, the third-round pick from Ohio State is set up with first-round pick from Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins. The two were a nice combination for the Buckeyes and should continue that chemistry in the pros.

Redskins | Terry McLaurin impressing early on    Tue Jul 9, 02:42 AM

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin was impressive during offseason work, and he might end up getting a shot at a starting job on the outside opposite WR Josh Doctson.

Footballguys view: We love McLaurin's upside and value in dynasty formats. The Ohio State receiver has some nuance to his route-running game and certainly has the speed to be a threat deep in the pros. He was a standout player during the week of practice at the Senior Bowl earlier this year and we'll monitor him in dynasty leagues to see if his polish can turn into production in the NFL.
