New York Jets TE Arthur Lynch, RB Daryl Richardson and TE Wes Saxton were released Saturday, Sept. 5.

Footballguys view: Richardson has good speed, but he's not impressed consistently at the pro level. Super deep dynasty league owners have moved on.

The Miami Dolphins placed DT A.J. Francis (knee), RB Mike Gillislee (hamstring) and TE Arthur Lynch (back) on Reserve/Injured Tuesday, Aug. 26.

Dolphins | Arthur Lynch cashing in    Tue Aug 5, 09:15 AM

Miami Dolphins TE Arthur Lynch received a lot of snaps with the first-team offense in practice Tuesday, Aug. 5, due to the bevy of injuries at the position.

Footballguys view: Lynch is getting extra looks primarily because Charles Clay (knee) is down with an injury. The rookie from Georgia is known as a hard worker with a blue-collar attitude. He's a strong blocker, and Lynch is tough at the point of the catch. Lynch is not much of a "move" tight end, but he is a capable receiver who knows how to use his body to get defenders out of his way.

Dolphins | Arthur Lynch signed    Thu May 22, 07:41 PM

The Miami Dolphins have signed fifth-round draft choice TE Arthur Lynch to a four-year deal. The deal is worth an estimated $2.4 million.

Footballguys view: The Dolphins are still looking for help at tight end, though Charles Clay has played well. Lynch is more of a blocker than a straight-up receiving tight end, but he is solid in short and intermediate routes and could be a nice release valve for Ryan Tannehill.
