Tampa Bay Buccaneers OG Alex Cappa (forearm), LB Jack Cichy (elbow), OT Demar Dotson (hamstring), WR Breshad Perriman (hamstring) and OG Zack Bailey (ankle, foot) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 11, and have been ruled out for Week 6. Former Arizona Cardinals RB T.J. Logan was claimed off waivers by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday, Sept. 2. The team also waived LB Patrick O'Connor.

Footballguys view: Logan was a fifth-round pick for the Bruce Arians-led Cardinals in 2017. He's a compact runner with great speed and the ability to make people miss. Logan will be the Bucs No. 4 running back behind Peyton Barber, Ronald Jones and fantasy darling Dare Ogunbowale.

'At the end of the season, it clicked for me, like I needed to put more into it,' said Logan. 'This game, you're only going to get out what you put in.' He feels

Footballguys view: Logan played only 21 snaps on offense last year for the Cardinals. We like his change-of-pace ability, but Logan is only worth monitoring in the deepest of deep dynasty leagues.

Cardinals | Week 1 injury report for Arizona    Fri Sep 7, 04:39 PM

Arizona Cardinals DE Markus Golden (knee) did not practice Friday, Sept. 7 and he is listed as out for Week 1 against the Washington Redskins. TE Jermaine Gresham (Achilles'), RB T.J. Logan (ankle), DT Robert Nkemdiche (foot) and DT Olsen Pierre (toe) were limited participants and are considered questionable. OL Korey Cunningham (thumb) and DT Corey Peters (knee) practiced in full and were removed from the report.

  Cardinals | T.J. Logan eyeing Week 1    Sun Jun 17, 11:31 PM

Arizona Cardinals RB T.J. Logan (wrist) said his wrist is 'definitely' healthy, and he is trying to improve his conditioning with the hope of being ready to play in Week 1.

Footballguys view: Logan is trying to win a change-of-pace role behind David Johnson in the Cardinals backfield. A fifth-round pick in the 2017 NFL draft, Logan was put on Injured Reserve last September and didn't post any stats as a rookie. We could see rookie Chase Edmonds (fourth-round pick out of Fordham) begin the season as the no.2 back behind Johnson.

Cardinals | T.J. Logan headed to IR    Mon Sep 4, 01:47 PM

Arizona Cardinals RB T.J. Logan (wrist) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Sept. 4.

Footballguys view: The rookie from North Carolina is a dynamic change-of-pace back when healthy. On the IR, the Cardinals could choose to bring back Logan later in the year. The team waited to put him on the list so they could have the option of bringing him back when at/near full strength in November.

Cardinals | T.J. Logan injury update    Sat Aug 5, 01:56 PM

Updating a previous story, Arizona Cardinals rookie RB T.J. Logan (wrist) is expected to be sidelined for approximately 12 weeks to recover from surgery to repair a dislocated wrist, per head coach Bruce Arians. The timetable puts an approximate return date around Week 8.

Footballguys view: Logan wasn't likely to have any value this year but he's going to see even that meager amount reduced with this news. It sounds like we won't see him until late October, which means he's going to be way behind the rest of the backs. Barring injury when he comes back, Logan is worthless in redraft though he may have some value down the road in dynasty.

Cardinals | 'Not looking good' for T.J. Logan    Fri Aug 4, 03:16 PM

Arizona Cardinals RB T.J. Logan (wrist) is still awaiting definitive word on his wrist injury, but sources say the prognosis is 'not looking good.'

Footballguys view: A disappointing piece of news for the fifth round rookie, though from a fantasy standpoint, Logan was just going to be an occasional third down back who worked on special teams and therefore, wasn't going to be a critical piece for any GM.

Cardinals | T.J. Logan expected to be returner    Sat Jul 29, 03:52 PM

Arizona Cardinals RB T.J. Logan is expected to be the team's kick returner this season unless he struggles at the position during the preseason, according to head coach Bruce Arians. Arians said Logan is also a candidate for the punt returner job.

Footballguys view: Logan is dangerous with the ball in his hands. In the open field, Logan has 'make you miss' ability and can make defenders look silly. As a running back, there's not much opportunity there for Logan as he's buried on the depth chart.

Cardinals | Arizona signs three more picks    Sat May 13, 04:38 PM

Arizona Cardinals fifth-round draft choice OT Will Holden, fifth-round draft choice RB T.J. Logan and sixth-round draft choice CB Johnathan Ford signed four-year contracts Saturday, May 13. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys view: Logan could be everything the team wanted WR Andre Ellington to be as a running back. The North Carolina back is compactly built and can change direction smoothly with the rock in his hands. He's not a banger between the tackles, but Logan is dangerous in space. Logan should compete for the backup/change-of-pace role behind superstar David Johnson in 2017.
