49ers | George Kittle improving    Fri Jan 17, 11:33 AM

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ankle) said his ankle is feeling 'fabulous' Friday, Jan. 17.

Footballguys view: Kittle was a fantasy non-factor last week because the 49ers cruised to a victory on the back of the defense and running game. He could be more important as a receiver if the Packers have more success on offense than they did in a 37-8 loss to the 49ers earlier this year.

49ers | San Francisco on to NFC Championship game    Sat Jan 11, 07:36 PM

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo went 11-for-19 for 131 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Minnesota Vikings in the Divisional Round playoff game. RB Tevin Coleman rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. RB Raheem Mostert rushed for 58 yards on 12 carries, while RB Matt Breida rushed for 17 yards on eight carries. WR Emmanuel Sanders caught two passes for 33 yards on two targets, while TE George Kittle caught three passes for 16 yards on five targets.

Footballguys view: The 49ers are going to be at home for the NFC Championship Game as the No.1 seed in the conference. Their defense is playing at a high level and their offense can beat you up with the ground game. We'll see if the Packers or the Seahawks are the team traveling to play the 49ers next Sunday.

Footballguys view: This game on Sunday against the Saints is another huge matchup for the 49ers. Having Kittle out there will greatly help the 49ers offense and Fantasy GMs can turn to Kittle as his usual TE1 in the first week of the fantasy playoffs.

49ers | Week 14 injury report for San Francisco    Fri Dec 6, 03:43 PM

Jones (ankle), TE George Kittle (knee, ankle), WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder), WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) and CB Richard Sherman (knee) were able to practice in full Friday and have been removed from the injury report.

  49ers | San Francisco's Week 13 injury report    Fri Nov 29, 05:46 PM

San Francisco 49ers DL Dee Ford (quad, hamstring) and WR Dante Pettis (knee) did not practice Friday, Nov. 29, and have been ruled out for Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens. RB Matt Breida (ankle) and OT Joe Staley were limited Friday and are listed as questionable. TE George Kittle (knee, ankle), WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder) and WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) were also limited Friday but have been removed from the injury report. PK Robbie Gould (quad) and DT Jullian Taylor (jaw) practiced in full all week and also no longer appear on the injury report.

Footballguys view: Breida could be back this week to downgrade Raheem Mostert's value, but he's not trustworthy yet, especially not against the tough Ravens defense. Staley's return would be a boon for Jimmy Garoppolo as he'll face a tough Ravens secondary and need time to break them down. Kittle, Samuel, Sanders appear to be out of the woods with the injuries that made them game-time decisions last week.

RB Matt Breida (ankle), DL Dee Ford (quad, hamstring) and PK Robbie Gould (quad) also did not practice all week and are listed as doubtful. TE George Kittle (knee, ankle), WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder) and WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) were limited in practice for a straight day Friday, Nov. 22, and are listed as questionable. LB Azeez Al-Shaair (concussion) practiced in full all week, while RB Raheem Mostert (knee) and DL D.J. Jones (groin) practiced fully for a second straight day Friday; all three players no longer appear on the injury report.

Footballguys view: Sanders, Samuel, and Kittle are all game-time calls, but seen by at least one beat writer as likely to play. Kittle is a must-play if active, and Sanders and Samuel have some upside as WR3/Flex options because of the matchup. You can carry a hedge from San Francisco, Green Bay, Baltimore or the Rams if you are planning on playing any of them.

49ers | 'Things would have to change' for George Kittle to play    Sat Nov 9, 05:52 PM

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (knee) is already considered doubtful to play Monday, Nov. 11, but head coach Kyle Shanahan offered further insight Saturday, Nov. 9. 'If it was any other player I would probably say he's out,' Shanahan said. 'If it goes like this he will be out. George isn't a guy who needs to be out at practice. Footballguys view: Kittle has to be consdered week-to-week with this injury. The 49ers will roll with guys like Levine Toilolo and Ross Dwelley. Fantasy GMs have to look elsewhere for tight end help in Week 10.
