Bills | Duke Williams off COVID list    Sun Aug 9, 02:47 PM

Buffalo Bills WR Duke Williams was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list Sunday, Aug. 9. The team also released CB Akeem King.

Footballguys view: King was possibly in the mix for the last roster spot at corner after EJ Gaines opted out, but the team didn't see anything worth keeping in his very short stint with the team. Williams is a solid blocking wide receiver and had his moments last year, but could be on the outside looking in after the Bills drafted two wide receivers and traded for Stefon Diggs this offseason.

NFL | Akeem King drawing interest    Wed Apr 15, 07:54 AM

San Jose State DB Akeem King, a former wide receiver who converted to a safety, is drawing interest as a cornerback as the NFL Draft approaches. The Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks have all expressed interest in King.

Footballguys view: King can play cornerback or safety at the pro level. He's got good ball instincts and can play close to the line of scrimmage. King is likely going to be a late-round pick or undrafted free agent.
