The Denver Broncos announced Monday, Aug. 29, that they have released/waived RB C.J. Gable, CB Nate Jones, LB Braxton Kelley, LB Deron Mayo, OG Shawn Murphy, OT Curt Porter and DE David Veikune.

The Denver Broncos announced they have re-signed free agents TE Marquez Branson, CB Tony Carter, OG Mitch Erickson, CB D.J. Johnson, LB Braxton Kelley, DL Everette Pedesscleaux, RB Darius Walker and WR Matthew Willis to their practice squad.
| Footballguys view: Darius Walker didn't make the active roster, to the surprise of some, but the Broncos decided to sign him to their practice squad. He could see time in the regular season if injuries once again decimate the Broncos RB corps. We like the developmental upside of CB Tony Carter as well. |
