Joe Reedy, of The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports the Cincinnati Bengals have released PK Sam Swank, CB Rico Murray, TE Kolo Kapanui, OG Andrew Crummey, DT Ventrell Jenkins, OT Augustus Parrish, WR Freddie Brown, LB Dan Skuta, DE Chris Harrington, DT Langston Moore, WR Maurice Purify, FB Chris Pressley, SS Corey Lynch, LB James Maxwell, LB Darryl Blackstock, RB James X. Johnson, DT Clinton McDonald, OG Jason Shirley, FB Fui Vakapuna and SS Marvin White.

Footballguys view: Both Brian Leonard and DeDe Dorsey made the team, so they will go into the season with four RBs. UDFA WR/KR Quan Cosby also made the team.

The Cincinnati Bengals have announced they have signed unrestricted free-agent TEs John Paul Foschi (Raiders) and Kolo Kapanui (Saints). Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

The Associated Press reports the New Orleans Saints have released WR Biren Ealy and TE Kolo Kapanui. The two players were arrested Sunday, May 3, and charged with obscenity, disturbing the peace and lewd conduct.

Footballguys view: Ealy already had off field issues when he came out of college 2 years ago. This was an easy decision once the duo was caught urinating in public.

Updating a previous item, the Associated Press reports New Orleans Saints WR Biren Ealy and TE Kolo Kapanui have been released from jail. The two players were booked on charges of obscenity, disturbing the peace and lewd conduct.

  Saints | Two charged with lewd conduct    Sun May 3, 07:20 PM

The Associated Press reports New Orleans Saints WR Biren Ealy and TE Kolo Kapanui were charged Sunday, May 3, with obscenity, disturbing the peace and lewd conduct. Ealy and Kapanui were allegedly being drunk, urinating in public and exposing themselves. Two women riding in a vehicle reportedly saw Ealy and Kapanui urinating in the parking lot of an apartment complex, according to authorities. When one of the women told Ealy to stop, he turned around while exposing himself and began making lewd comments. Kapanui allegedly exposed himself to the driver of the vehicle and made lewd comments. Both players were jailed on $4,250 bonds.
