The San Francisco 49ers cut WR Austin Collie, WR Kassim Osgood, LB Chad Hall, WR Lavelle Hawkins and LS Brian Jennings. WR Mario Manningham (knee) and WR Michael Crabtree (Achilles') were placed on the reserve Physically Unable to Perform list.
| Footballguys view: Collie may still be recovering from the torn patellar tendon he suffered last year. The 49ers knew he may not be ready until October when they signed him as a free agent earlier this year. |
