| Footballguys view: Jackson had a costly fumble, but added a lot of value on his touches and was not the reason the Chargers lost. He was the reason a lot of fantasy teams that needed a running back this week won with an elite result. Even with Austin Ekeler probably returning for next week's game against the Broncos, Jackson remains an RB2 possibility for teams in fantasy championships. The Chargers have no margin of error with remaining games against the Broncos and Raiders. |

Los Angeles Chargers RB Justin Jackson, RB Larry Rountree and RB Joshua Kelley will likely be battling for the final two spots in the backfield, according to Daniel Popper of The Athletic.
| Footballguys view: The Chargers have Austin Ekeler as their starter but behind him there is this group with no established pecking order. Each one brings a varied skill set to the field for the Chargers, and we'll have to see how this shakes out in training camp. There may not be a true handcuff to Ekeler as the Chargers would likely go RBBC with multiple backs if Ekeler had to miss time. |
