The Denver Broncos signed DT Ben Garland, SS Duke Ihenacho, TE Cornelius Ingram, RB Jeremiah Johnson, WR Greg Orton, DT Sealver Siliga and OG Wayne Tribue to their practice squad.

Footballguys view: Johnson is the player to watch in deep dynasty leagues. He looked good in the preseason as a runner but did not catch as cleanly as the team would like. Johnson is a big play weapon with the agility to be a force in the open field.

The Detroit Lions signed free-agent TE Nathan Overbay (Buccaneers) to the practice squad Wednesday, Sept. 14, and placed TE Cornelius Ingram (undisclosed) on the practice squad Injured Reserve.

Footballguys view: Overbay isn't much of a blocker but is a good move TE with run after the catch ability. He won't be much of a fantasy factor unless there are injuries in front of him on the depth chart.

Eagles | Hoping Cornelius Ingram will be able to play    Fri Mar 18, 03:32 PM

The Philadelphia Eagles are hoping that TE Cornelius Ingram (knee) will be able to return after suffering back-to-back torn anterior cruciate ligaments, reports Jeff McLane, of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Footballguys view: Ingram is very talented, but knee injuries have stunted his once promising career. The Eagles should consider themselves lucky if they get one healthy season out of Ingram at this point.

The Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed free-agent TE Cornelius Ingram to their practice squad, the team announced Thursday, Nov. 11.

Footballguys view: Ingram is a talented young player who can create mismatches when he's on the field because of his size/speed combination. However, injuries have derailed his career and he will need to prove that he can stay healthy if he's going to ever make an impact.

Eagles | Cornelius Ingram scheduled to undergo MRI    Wed Aug 25, 05:35 PM

Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram (calf) is scheduled to undergo an MRI because of swelling in his left calf, reports Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily News. Head coach Andy Reid said the MRI is precautionary. Ingram has not been able to run at full speed and could be a candidate for Injured Reserve.

Footballguys view: Ingram just can't seem to stay healthy. If he is put on IR it would be the third football season in a row he missed due to injury.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram (knee) sat out the teams morning practice Sunday, Aug. 8, to rest his surgically repaired knee, reports Jonathan Tamari, of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Footballguys view: Ingram has not been impressing when he has practiced, and currently we're expecting more from Clay Harbor than we are Ingram.

Eagles | Cornelius Ingram getting work in two-TE sets    Fri Jul 30, 09:47 PM

Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram has been on the field with TE Brent Celek when the team lines up in two-tight end sets, reports Sheil Kapadia, of Philly.com.

Footballguys view: If Ingram is healthy, that's another dangerous weapon for the Eagles passing game to harness.

Eagles | Cornelius Ingram healthy    Sun Jul 25, 01:43 PM

Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram (knee) has recovered from his second torn ACL in as many years, reports Ray FitzGerald, of The Gainesville Sun. He is not showing any signs of limps or problems due to the previous injuries. The first graft he had failed, so the second time the ACL tore he had it replaced by Dr. James Andrews, who used Ingram's patella instead of one from a cadaver.

Footballguys view: Ingram is a fantastic athlete who could be a fine complementary player at the tight end position if he could only stay healthy. He is athletic enough to line up in the slot position and because of his size he could be a good target in the red zone. We're not expecting Ingram to cut too much into Brent Celek's numbers this year.

Eagles | Ingram the #2 tight end?    Wed May 26, 10:49 AM

Sheil Kapadia, from Philly.com, reports it would appear that if he can stay healthy, Cornelius Ingram will be the clear No. 2 tight end behind Brent Celek.

Footballguys view: Ingram has missed the last two seasons (one in college, one in the pros) because of knee injuries. If he can stay healthy he could provide valuable depth for the Eagles at the tight end position. Ingram is very gifted athletically, and plays like a super sized wide receiver.

Eagles | Cornelius Ingram doing everything at workouts    Thu May 20, 03:12 PM

Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram (knee) has been able to participate in workouts this offseason and has been able to do everything the coaches have asked him, reports Jeff McLane, of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Ingram has been able to make cuts and run at full speed without any problems with his knee.

Footballguys view: Ingram's potential spot has been usurped by Brent Celek, but he could still make some noise as the second TE in a terrific passing offense.

Eagles | Cornelius Ingram practices in full Wednesday    Wed May 19, 08:17 PM

Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram (knee) practiced in full Wednesday, May 19, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane.

Footballguys view: Ingram is trying to come back from another lost season due to a knee injury. He missed his final season in college (2008) and was on Injured Reserve during his rookie season for the Eagles (2009). He's very athletic and could develop into a good move tight end if he can stay healthy.

Eagles | Ingram could be placed on IR    Sat Aug 8, 05:01 PM

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid said there is a chance the Eagles place TE Cornelius Ingram (knee) on Injured Reserve.

Eagles | Ingram tears ACL... again.    Sat Aug 8, 03:37 PM

Jeff McLane, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports that Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram has torn the ACL in his left knee exactly one year after he tore it the first time.

Footballguys view: Another blow to an Eagles team that is having a star-crossed training camp. We will move Brent Celek up on this news to the almost-startable tier of fantasy TEs, since he will have little to no competition for targets now.

Eagles | Ingram gets an MRI on his knee    Sat Aug 8, 12:27 PM

Jeff McLane, from the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports the bigger injury issue for the Eagles is tight end Cornelius Ingram, who once again missed practice with knee swelling. Ingram had sat out practice earlier this week, but returned in a limited fashion Thursday. The Eagles sent the rookie fifth-round pick for an MRI this morning.

Footballguys view: This is the same knee that kept Ingram from playing his final season for the Florida Gators last year. The team only has two healthy tight ends (Brent Celek and Eugene Bright) because Matt Schobel is dealing with a calf injury. Ingram is a big, athletic, and fast tight end that could develop into a major weapon in this passing game - if he can stay healthy.

Eagles | Ingram having a great week, Celek too    Sun Aug 2, 05:05 PM

Chris McPherson, from PhiladelphiaEagles.com, reports Cornelius Ingram is having a great week. Flat-out great week. He showed in pass-pro drills that he is an able and willing blocker. Moves his feet nicely. Has pretty good technique and strength. Good start for him. At the same time, please don't lack respect for Brent Celek. He is having a wonderful camp, as sure and confident a player as the Eagles have had at tight end in years. Celek doesn't make mental mistakes, he doesn't drop passes, he blocks well (yes, well) and he runs like a bulldozer after the catch. Celek makes the grab and puts the ball away safely and then runs over people.

Footballguys view: Cornelius Ingram is a fantastic athlete and creates mismatches no matter who is lined up to guard him. Ingram will never be confused with a traditional TE, but could split him out wide or line him up in the slot. Celek proved last postseason that he deserves more playing time, and makes for a nice backup TE in 12-team leagues.

Eagles | Ingram impressing early at camp    Wed Jul 29, 10:39 AM

PhiladelphiaEagles.com is reporting Ingram, who has been on the field these first two days of practice at Lehigh University, provides goosebump moments. He is a man at 6 feet 4, 245 pounds. He runs well, and is so big and physical that you can imagine the things the Eagles might be able to do with him. "I know that this is just the beginning. I feel great and I think I'm going to have a lot of opportunities to get better," said Ingram, a fifth-round pick from Florida who missed all of last season with the Gators after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in practice. "My goal is to keep improving every single day and if I do that, I'll be where I want to be."

Footballguys view: Ingram is excited to get back on the football field after missing all of last season due to a knee injury. He reminds many in the scouting community of Dallas Clark or Vernon Davis because of his great athletic ability. The Eagles have another dangerous weapon for their passing game, and Ingram creates mismatches every time he's on the field because he's too fast for linebackers to cover and too big for safeties to cover.

Eagles | Ingram impresses early at camp    Wed Jul 29, 12:40 AM

Dave Spadaro, of PhiladelphiaEagles.com, reports that fifth-round pick TE Cornelius Ingram has had a "great first two days" of camp. Spadaro says Ingram "potentially figures to be a major contributor to the Eagles' offense as a rookie", and reports that the Eagles "privately celebrated" when Ingram fell to them in the fifth round and that "the team had its eye on Ingram long, long ago".

Footballguys view: Ingram is a better physical talent than his fifth-round slot would suggest. He fell because he was still recovering from ACL surgery. He could be the best weapon the Eagles have had at TE since Keith Jackson. We don't expect much from him this year, but he could start to steal Brent Celek's targets as he gets the hang of the offense and learns to be a better blocker this year.

Eagles | Ingram says knee has been healthy entire offseason    Wed Jul 8, 08:57 PM

Ray FitzGerald, of The Gainesville Sun, reports Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram said his knee has not given him any problems this offseason. Ingram said, "I've been catching on really good with the offense. I've had the opportunity to be in there and get a lot of reps. My knee has been healthy the entire time. I've been getting better every day. I can see that I'm making strides and I feel real good about where I'm at right now. This summer has just been about getting back out there and getting back into doing the little things like fundamentals, running and catching. Everything else has been fine."

Footballguys view: Eagles rookies rarely make a big impact (DeSean Jackson's 2008 notwithstanding), so being on the mend from an ACL tear can't help Ingram's prospects for this year. We like Ingram to be a top 15-20 fantasy TE eventually in dynasty leagues, but Brent Celek is the Eagle TE you want to own in redraft leagues.

Eagles | Ingram signed    Wed Jun 10, 10:04 AM

Adam Caplan, reporting for Scout.com, reports the Philadelphia Eagles have signed fifth-round draft pick TE Cornelius Ingram to a four-year deal worth just a bit over $1.9 million with a signing bonus of roughly $183,000, according to a league source.

Footballguys view: Cornelius Ingram adds yet another dimension to the Eagles high powered passing attack. Ingram is an extraordinary athlete and if he stays healthy he could develop into an elite pro. He creates mismatches because he's too fast for LBs and too big for DBs to cover.

Eagles | Ingram was nervous when he banged his knee    Sat May 30, 09:21 PM

Jeff McLane, of The Philadelphia Inquirer, reports Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram (knee) said he was scared when he injured his knee earlier in the week.

Footballguys view: He only suffered a bruised knee, but it happened to the same knee he previously suffered a torn ACL in. He said doctors checked him out and everything was fine. Ingram was sporting a black sleeve over his knee when he returned to practice.

Eagles | Ingram practices Friday    Fri May 29, 03:48 PM

Chris McPherson, of PhiladelphiaEagles.com, reports Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram (knee) participated in practice Friday, May 29.

Footballguys view: On Wednesday, Ingram injured the same knee that he had reconstructed after he tore his ACL last year. He said the swelling went down, and the knee was little stiff at the beginning of practice, but it became more comfortable as practice went on.

Eagles | Ingram takes part in practice Thursday    Fri May 29, 10:44 AM

Jeff McLane, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram (knee) took part in the team's practice Thursday, May 28.

Footballguys view: Ingram sat out non-contract drills but participated in individual workouts. The Eagles (and Ingram) got a big scare when he went down holding his knee because he missed the entire 2008 college football season due to a knee injury. Ingram is a very athletic big man and has great run after the catch ability. We'll see if he can stay injury free because he could develop into a key part of that passing attack.

Eagles | Ingram banged up Wednesday    Wed May 27, 06:56 PM

Dave Spadaro, of PhiladelphiaEagles.com, reports Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram (knee) suffered a left knee contusion during practice Wednesday, May 27, but is expected to be fine.

Footballguys view: It was a scary moment for the rookie TE that missed the entire 2008 season for the Florida Gators with a knee injury. The Eagles are hoping that he can stay healthy because he is a dangerous weapon with the ball in his hands.

Eagles | Ingram says he is fully recovered    Thu Apr 30, 04:34 PM

Chris McPherson, of PhiladelphiaEagles.com, reports Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram said he is completely recovered from the ACL injury that made him miss the entire season last year.

Footballguys view: Cornelius Ingram is a very athletic Tight End, and if he's healthy opposing defenses had better watch out. Donovan McNabb owners should love the playmakers that the Eagles have put around him this year. Ingram isn't much of a blocker, but is a sure handed receiver with great run after the catch ability.
