Ravens | Hayden Hurst good to go    Thu Jun 27, 11:51 AM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (hamstring) said he is good to go for training camp.

Footballguys view: Hurst's health has been an issue and he is behind Mark Andrews in his development at least in part because of it. He's not draftable right now, but his progress will affect Andrews value, so we'll be watching if he can stay on the field in camp.

Ravens | Hayden Hurst over hamstring issue    Sun Jun 23, 09:17 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (hamstring) was able to participate in minicamp after dealing with a hamstring injury during OTAs.

Footballguys view: Hurst has had trouble staying healthy, so it wasn't encouraging to see him on the injury report this spring. That he returned is redeeming, but we'll be watching his health closely this summer. Mark Andrews is still the tight end to own in this offense.

Ravens | Hayden Hurst a no-go on Thursday    Thu Jun 6, 02:30 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (hamstring) was held out of organized team activities Thursday, June 6, for precautionary reasons after tweaking a hamstring, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Footballguys view: Hurst has a ton of talent but these injuries are starting to be a concern. He was banged up as a rookie and only played in 12 games, catching just 13 passes for 163 yards and one touchdown. The 2018 first-round pick needs to stay healthy and prove that he's a better option than fellow second-year tight end Mark Andrews.

Ravens | Hayden Hurst wants more in 2019    Sat Apr 13, 10:02 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst said he was 'just average' as a rookie but believes he is capable of more in 2019 now that he has fully recovered from a foot injury.

Footballguys view: Hurst was a first-round pick in the 2018 NFL draft and he is the starting tight end for the Ravens. He only caught 13 passes for 163 yards and one touchdown as a rookie (in 12 games) and is looking to do much more. We like his athletic profile and upside, but the Ravens are a ground-and-pound team. That means his opportunities may be limited. If he plays up to his potential and stays healthy, Hurst could be a TE2 for Fantasy GMs.

Ravens | Hayden Hurst at full health    Tue Feb 19, 04:03 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (foot) is fully healthy again after a screw was recently removed from the foot he fractured last August.

Footballguys view: The 2018 first-round pick wasn't able to make much of an impact as a rookie. Hurst was able to play in 12 games in his rookie year and caught only 13 passes for 163 yards and one touchdown. The Ravens have a run-heavy offense with QB Lamar Jackson running the show, so Fantasy GMs should not expect much from Hurst outside of TE2 levels of production in 2019.

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst has 'excited' offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg with his play in practice this week.

Ravens | Hayden Hurst limited Thursday    Thu Oct 4, 04:50 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (foot) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 4.

Footballguys view: Hurst could return this week, but with three other viable targets at tight end for the Ravens, he probably isn't more than a deep league or TE premium stash right now.

Ravens | Hayden Hurst limited in practice    Wed Oct 3, 05:29 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (foot) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 3.

Footballguys view: Hurst is expected back soon. The rookie first-round pick has the skill set of an impact tight end. He's big, strong and athletic enough to create mismatches when he's on the field. Hurst should become a favorite target of QB Joe Flacco. Pick him up now if you can and stash him. He's a TE2 with upside when he's on the field as the team's starter.

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (foot) has a 'good chance' to make his NFL debut in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns, according to head coach John Harbaugh, after returning to practice last week.

Footballguys view: The Ravens are getting a potentially big asset for their offense back with Hurst. The rookie first-round pick is a big target and can be a favorite target of QB Joe Flacco. He's a streaming option for Fantasy GMs...and we like him as a TE2 with upside.

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (foot) has practiced well this week according to head coach John Harbaugh, although Harbaugh said 'it's a medical decision' in regards to whether or not Hurst will make his NFL debut in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Footballguys view: The Ravens already have three viable receiving tight ends, so they don't have to rush Hurst back. It's time to pre-emptively add him in deep TE premium and 2 TE leagues.

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (foot) could return to practice this week, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Footballguys view: Hurst could be a borderline TE1 for Fantasy GMs when he's at full strength. The rookie first-round pick has the talent to become a favorite target of QB Joe Flacco. Grab him on waivers if someone got impatient and dumped him in your league.

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (foot) will not begin practicing this week, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Footballguys view: The Ravens have a long week after losing to the Bengals last Thursday night. Coming up in Week 3 is a home game against the Broncos...a team that historically struggles against tight ends. Look for a TEBC with Nick Boyle, Maxx Williams and rookie Mark Andrews while Hurst continues to miss time.
