The New York Giants have waived TE Ryan Purvis, DT Carlton Powell, DB Chris Horton, WR Julian Talley, WR Brandon Collins, TE Chris Hopkins, CB Brandon Bing, FS JoJo Nicolas, RB Joe Martinek, OT Joel Reinders and DT Oren Wilson.

Giants | Nine signed to future contracts Wed Feb 8, 04:01 PM
The New York Giants have signed QB Ryan Perrilloux, RB Andre Brown, WRs Dan DePalma and Isaiah Stanback, TE Chris Hopkins, OL Selvish Capers, DE Adrian Tracy, DT Dwayne Hendricks and CB Brandon Bing to future contracts. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
| Footballguys view: Brown could be important next year with a good offseason, assuming Brandon Jacobs is a cap cut. He was drafted by the Giants in the fourth round of the 2009 draft, so the brass definitely saw something in him on film as a collegiate back. He has to overcome a torn achilles suffered in 2009 camp that might have permanently robbed him of his upside. |

Giants | Six added to practice squad Sun Sep 4, 09:10 PM
The New York Giants signed RB Andre Brown, DL Dwayne Hendricks, TE Chris Hopkins, QB Ryan Perrilloux, LB Adrian Tracy and DL Justin Trattou to the practice squad Sunday, Sept. 4. All six players were waived in the roster cutdown Saturday, Sept. 3. The team can sign two additional players to the practice squad.
| Footballguys view: Perrilloux is an interesting prospect to monitor in super deep dynasty leagues. He's an extremely athletic QB with a rocket arm. While in college he matured and developed as a passer. Perrilloux can keep a play alive with his feet while keeping his eyes downfield. |
