| Footballguys view: Coming out of Virginia Tech in 2016, Hodges was a sixth-round pick for the Vikings but has yet to play an NFL snap. He was released by the Vikings as a rookie and the Steelers make the fifth NFL roster he's been on. He's 6'6" 256 pounds and has a basketball player skill set at the tight end position. Hodges is someone we'll monitor but only in crazy deep dynasty formats. |

He can pluck the ball from above his head regularly, and making plays above the rim is not a problem. He does need more weight as he can be pushed around close to the line of scrimmage, and Hodges is not going to be a forceful blocker initially at the pro level. |

| Footballguys view: Coby Fleener has been a poor replacement for Jimmy Graham (Seahawks), and the Saints could use more competition at the tight end position. Hodges would give them that as he's basically a super-sized wide receiver. He'll make spectacular plays seem routine, and Hodges is athletic enough to create mismatches. He's not much of a blocker, and Hodges needs to add more muscle to stand up to the NFL beating he'll get as a pro. |
