49ers | San Francisco hosting RB workouts    Tue Sep 22, 06:47 PM

Free-agent RBs Paul Perkins (Ravens), Karan Higdon (Texans) and Austin Walter (Giants) are among the running backs trying out for the San Francisco 49ers.

Footballguys view: The 49ers are getting thin at the position with Tevin Coleman and Raheem Mostert banged up. They've got Jerick McKinnon and Jeffery Wilson as their top two backs going forward. We'll see if they sign one of these free agents later in the week.
