Denver Broncos head coach John Fox said Tuesday, Aug. 7, that the team has had no discussions about reinstated free-agent RB Travis Henry (Broncos), who is interested in making a comeback.

Footballguys view: Running Back is a young man's position. There's not going to be much interest in a guy like Henry.

The NFL has conditionally reinstated former NFL RB Travis Henry, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

Footballguys view: We can't imagine his phone ringing off the hook, or ringing at all. Running Back is a young man's position and guys like Cedric Benson and Ryan Grant are still available as street free agents.

Former NFL RB Travis Henry is hoping to make a comeback in the NFL. Henry will turn 34 in October.

Footballguys view: Henry has been in federal prison since 2009 on a drug trafficking conviction. We can't imagine any team interested in the troubled back. The only way he'll play in the NFL this season is by creating himself as a player in Madden 2013.

The Associated Press reports former NFL RB Travis Henry is in federal custody for violating conditions of his bond. Tampa (Fla.) U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark Pizzo ruled Tuesday, May 19, that Henry violated bond conditions set by a Montana judge when he consumed alcohol.

Footballguys view: Some guys turn into a punchline after their playing days are over but this is just ridiculous.

The Associated Press reports unrestricted free-agent RB Travis Henry (Broncos) has signed a plea deal with prosecutors in which he will admit to a single charge of conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute. The remaining charge carries a mandatory 10 years to life in prison, a $4 million fine and five years of supervised release.
