NFL | Percy Harvin wants to return Wed Apr 22, 08:48 AM
Former WR Percy Harvin (Bills) said he's ready to return to the NFL after he retired in 2016 due to severe migraines. He said he has been training with a former Olympian and is better mentally. He weighs 185 pounds.
Footballguys view: Harvin will turn 32 next month, so he's still in the viable window of playing age for wide receivers. He should get at least a tryout and chance to make a 90 man roster, with upside to make a 53 if he gets his foot in the door. |

Bills | Percy Harvin misses practice Thu Nov 24, 02:19 PM
Buffalo Bills WR Percy Harvin (illness) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 24.
Footballguys view: Harvin was never going to be a factor, and after over a year off, we can't imagine anyone really thought he would be. If he's active this weekend, he's not worth being in your lineup even if Tyrod Taylor is short of options. |

Bills | Percy Harvin probably will start Thu Nov 17, 02:32 PM
Buffalo Bills WR Percy Harvin probably will be in the starting lineup against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11, according to offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn.
Footballguys view: Harvin used to be a playmaker, but we're not sure what he is today. He's only a desperation 'what the heck' flex against the Bengals. |

Buffalo Bills WR Percy Harvin will be 'more than a decoy' over the final seven games of the regular season after participating in 21 snaps in the team's Week 9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, according to head coach Rex Ryan.
Footballguys view: We find this hard to believe and consider it "Rex Speak" which we are all familiar with. Harvin has been sidelined since Week 5 of last season. Don't believe the hype. |

Bills | Percy Harvin re-joining Bills Tue Nov 1, 10:54 AM
Free-agent WR Percy Harvin (Bills) is coming out of retirement Tuesday, Nov. 1, and will re-sign with the Buffalo Bills.
Footballguys view: It's been years since Harvin was a starable player in fantasy leagues. He retired this offseason after he finished 2015 on Injured Reserve for the Bills. The team has a huge need at WR with injuries taking a massive toll on their depth chart. Harvin used to be a playmaker, but only add him in deep leagues where you have a need for a 'what the heck' flex. |

Buffalo Bills WR Percy Harvin has told the Bills that he is retiring, according to a source.

Updating on an ongoing story, free-agent WR Percy Harvin (Bills) is unlikely to play in 2016, according to sources.

NFL | Three teams interested in Percy Harvin Thu Mar 31, 02:03 PM
Updating a previous report, three teams are interested in free-agent WR Percy Harvin (Bills), and he's definitely planning on playing again in 2016 after contemplating retirement.
Footballguys view: Fourth time is the charm? We suspect this is something his agent is pushing out there, and Harvin seemed to be only marginally effective in Buffalo. It's going to have to take him landing in a very unique situation for us to feel real enthusiasm for him in fantasy. |

NFL | Percy Harvin not retiring yet Wed Mar 30, 06:37 PM
Free-agent WR Percy Harvin (Bills) will definitely play in 2016, according to a source. Harvin has received several offers, including from the Buffalo Bills, his former team. He is undecided as to what he'll do yet, though, as he is looking for the right situation in what he believes to be his last opportunity to make an impact in the NFL.
Footballguys view: Harvin has had his share of injury woes and he seems to have trouble fitting into most locker rooms, but the Bills want him back, and they did show a will to get him five or more touches a game. He would stay on our waiver wire radar as long as he plays in 2016. |

Bills | Percy Harvin decision coming soon Mon Mar 21, 04:18 PM
Buffalo Bills WR Percy Harvin's decision to retire or continue playing is expected within the next few weeks.
Footballguys view: Fantasy owners shouldn't be holding their breath. If Harvin returns to the Bills, his fantasy upside is quite limited by his role in the offense and the fact he seems to always get banged up and miss time. |

Bills | Buffalo wants Percy Harvin back Fri Jan 22, 12:48 PM
The Buffalo Bills are open to a return of WR Percy Harvin (hip) in 2016, according to general manager Doug Whaley. Harvin's hip problems limited him to just five games this year, and he has an automatic opt-out clause in his contract, which will make him a free agent this offseason.
Footballguys view: Harvin can be a dangerous weapon for the Bills if he's healthy and motivated. Buffalo would likely have to re-sign Harvin to a cost-conscious type of deal since they have limited salary cap space. |

Bills | Percy Harvin remains a question mark Wed Jan 20, 12:52 PM
Buffalo Bills restricted free-agent WR Percy Harvin (hip, knee) still is undecided about his future. 'Percy Harvin was supposed to be a big help for us and we're still not sure what's going on. He's got to make some decisions here coming up. We need to get somebody opposite of Sammy to be a real threat to that defense,' director of player personnel Jim Monos said. The final two years of Harvin's three-year deal will void Feb. 12, or five days after the Super Bowl. He'll count for $1 million in dead money against the 2016 salary cap and another $1 million against the 2017 cap. It' unlikely that the Bills view re-signing Harvin as a priority at this point.

Buffalo Bills WR Percy Harvin (hip, knee) has been in contact with head coach Rex Ryan, and Ryan believes Harvin wants to continue his playing career.

Buffalo Bills WR Percy Harvin (hip) is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair his injured hip. He will not reach an injury settlement with the Bills.
Footballguys view: Robert Woods will start for the rest of the season and he has been modestly productive. If Tyrod Taylor continues to play like he did before Sammy Watkins went out, Woods could have value in deeper leagues. |

Buffalo Bills WR Percy Harvin (hip) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Nov. 7. The team also activated CB Leodis McKelvin (ankle) from the Non-Football Injury list.
Footballguys view: Harvin has a ton of talent, but he's been battling through injuries most of this year. In fact, Harvin has been banged up quite a bit for a few years. He hasn't played a full 16-game season since 2011 when he was with the Minnesota Vikings. |

Updating previous reports, Buffalo Bills WR Percy Harvin (hip, knee) told the team last week that he 'needed to take some time for personal reasons,' according to general manager Doug Whaley. The Bills haven't been in contact with Harvin and they don't plan to reach out to him until they return from their Week 7 game in London. Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (knee), WR Sammy Watkins (ankle), RB Karlos Williams (concussion) and WR Percy Harvin (hip, knee) have been ruled out for Week 7.
Footballguys view: Robert Woods and Chris Hogan will start at wide receiver, and EJ Manuel will be throwing to them. LeSean McCoy should get a ton of work, and the Jags pass defense isn't stellar, so the Bills could still have a reasonable game through the air too. |

Bills | Percy Harvin out indefinitely Thu Oct 22, 09:02 AM
Buffalo Bills WR Percy Harvin (hip, knee) is frustrated by hip and knee injuries that are expected to sideline him indefinitely, according to sources. He's not considering retirement, though.
Footballguys view: That escalated quickly - I mean that really got out of hand. Normally Harvin doesn't implode until he's been with a team a year. Harvin had a couple of big moments early but has largely been underwhelming. With Sammy Watkins out, this is a problem for the Bills, even against a shaky Jacksonville defense. It's up to Robert Woods now, who projects as a high-end WR3 or a very low-end WR2. |
