Atlanta Falcons DT Ra'Shede Hageman (wrist) will be a full participant in practice Monday, Aug. 4, even though he is dealing with a bruised wrist, according to head coach Mike Smith. Hageman underwent X-rays on his wrist, but they did not show any broken bones.

Footballguys view: This was originally reported as a broken bone, but the Falcons dodged a bullet here. The highly talented Hageman needs as much practice and preseason time as possible to start to shore up his raw game.

Footballguys view: Minnesota is an intriguing landing spot for Hageman, who is rated as a first round defensive tackle, though it would be a surprise if he went in the top ten. New Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is a defensive guru though, so Hageman could be very exciting under his tutelage.

The Minnesota Vikings are likely to target defensive linemen at the NFL Scouting Combine beginning Feb. 22. ESPN.com's Ben Goessling speculates Louis Nix of Notre Dame, Ra'Shede Hageman of Minnesota, and Kony Ealy of Missouri are on the Vikings' radar screen.

Footballguys view: Just another sign the team is likely to let Jared Allen walk in free agency. Many things will look different for the Vikings in 2014. They should also be looking for a franchise quarterback in this draft.
