We'll always remember Gurley for his superstar performance with the Rams that made him a fantasy favorite for years. Even though it's not yet official, this is Gurley admitting he's retired. |

He should get a lot of volume in a run-heavy Lions offense, and projecting him for around 1,000 yards rushing makes sense. Adding Gurley to the room would further complicate things and potentially take some work away from him. Swift has a current ADP of RB13 (2.10) in 12-team PPR leagues. |

Right now (standard-scoring) Gurley is the no.6 running back in fantasy leagues. That falls just a bit to the no.8 position in PPR leagues. Either way, Gurley is a RB1 for Fantasy GMs out there. |

Atlanta Falcons DE Takkarist McKinley (groin) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday, Oct. 23, and is listed as questionable for Week 7 against the Detroit Lions. DT Deadrin Senat (rest) did not practice all week but is expected to be available. RB Todd Gurley (rest) and OG James Carpenter (rest) did not practice Friday but are expected to start. WR Calvin Ridley (elbow), DE Dante Fowler (ankle) and WR Julio Jones (hamstring) were limited in practice Friday but no longer appear on the injury report. WR Russell Gage Jr. (shoulder), WR Brandon Powell (elbow), DB Kendall Sheffield (foot) and S Jaylinn Hawkins (concussion) practiced in full Friday and have also been removed from the injury report. C Alex Mack (rest) was not given a practice designation Friday but is also expected to play.

Atlanta Falcons RB Todd Gurley rushed for 47 yards on 20 carries against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. He also caught three passes for 20 yards during the game.
| Footballguys view: Gurley had an ideal game script, but couldn't do much with it against the Vikings. The Falcons getting a win is still good for his overall outlook and he's still a solid RB2 against the Lions next week. |
