Chiefs | Might attempt to bring back Kelly Gregg    Tue Mar 27, 08:20 PM

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel said Tuesday, March 27, that the team might attempt to re-sign free-agent DL Kelly Gregg (Chiefs). 'I'm not ruling Kelly out. I think he would like to come back and play. I think he likes the situation. He understands how we coach. He know what defense we're doing to run,' Crennel said. 'I think if he has the opportunity he would not be opposed to coming back.'

Ravens | Kelly Gregg accepts Ben Roethlisberger's apology    Wed Jan 12, 12:21 AM

Baltimore Ravens DL Kelly Gregg was initially blamed for breaking the nose of Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger in the last meeting between the teams Dec. 5, but it was an inadvertent hit from DL Haloti Ngata, reports Edward Lee, of The Baltimore Sun. 'I have to apologize to Kelly Gregg, ' Roethlisberger said. 'I blamed him for it during the game. I'll have to apologize to him on the field. I was giving him a hard time.'

Ravens | Cody likely to contribute early    Sun May 30, 05:45 PM

Mike Wilkening, from ProFootballWeekly.com, reports Kelly Gregg figures to be the Ravens' starting nose tackle this season, and he remains a very valuable part of the line; active and productive, the 6-foot, 315-pound Gregg has racked up at least 56 tackles in every season in which he has started a full season for Baltimore. But rookie NT Terrence Cody will be a key part of the D-line rotation and could have a bigger impact than any other Ravens first-year player, the way we hear it. Listed four inches taller and 40 pounds heavier than the 33-year-old Gregg, Cody isn't going to rack up huge tackle totals -- he had less than 30 in each of his two seasons at Alabama -- but he will occupy two gaps and strengthen the Ravens' already stout interior run defense.

Footballguys view: "Mount" Cody should make for a nice rotational player during his rookie season. He's as big as a mountain, and should be able to take on double teams with ease.
