Kansas City Chiefs LB Nick Bolton (ankle) and CB Jaylen Watson (shoulder) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 29, and have been ruled out for Week 4 against the New York Jets. DE Chris Jones (groin) and WR Kadarius Toney (toe) were limited in practice all week but no longer appear on the injury report. Footballguys view: Toney is off of the injury report, so he should play more than the two snaps he saw last week, but he's still on our benches, if he's even on a fantasy roster in your league right now. Rashee Rice could be a good play this week as the team's best zone beater vs. the Jets.

Chiefs | Noah Gray may have big role as rookie    Mon Jun 21, 03:25 PM

Kansas City Chiefs TE Noah Gray may receive significant playing time as a rookie after showing impressive pass catching and route running during offseason workouts, according to ESPN.com's Adam Teicher.

Footballguys view: Gray is a good all-purpose tight end who can contribute as a move blocker and receiver. He's not a seam ripper with long speed, but Gray does have great route-running ability and can become a trusted target for his quarterback. We'll see how much he gets into the mix behind starter Travis Kelce.

Chiefs | Noah Gray brings flexibility    Fri May 21, 10:21 PM

Kansas City Chiefs TE Noah Gray lined up in multiple positions during rookie minicamp, including fullback. 'I think you don't just pigeonhole him as just a receiving tight end,' assistant personnel director Mike Bradway said. 'I think the guy's got some ability to be more than that. He is something different than we've had the last couple years.'

Footballguys view: Gray is an interesting prospect due to his landing spot. The Chiefs offense could bring out the best in him. Gray knows how to make difficult catches and can find the soft spot in a zone (he used to play high school quarterback so he knows where to be). He's not overly athletic and lacks burst. However, in this offense we will keep an eye on him in deeper dynasty formats.

Chiefs | KC signs rest of draft class    Thu May 13, 07:29 PM

Kansas City Chiefs second-round draft choice C Creed Humphrey, fourth-round draft choice DE Joshua Kaindoh, fifth-round draft choice TE Noah Gray and fifth-round draft choice WR Cornell Powell signed four-year contracts with the Chiefs Thursday, May 13. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys view: The player we are most interested in here is Powell. He may be a no.2 receiver for the Chiefs someday, a role that would have plenty of fantasy value. Powell has great ball skills and can track passes down field with ease. He needs to clean up his route running but the skill is there for him to be a no.2 in the league. Gray is a player we'll monitor in dynasty formats, and his skill set is that of an H-back/Tight End who can contribute as a receiver and as a blocker.
