Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (groin) returned to practice Friday, Sept. 20, after missing the previous two days with a groin injury, and head coach Matt LaFleur said afterward that Graham 'looked good.'

Footballguys view: Graham is only a desperation play despite the matchup with Denver, who always struggles with tight ends. Robert Tonyan could get more snaps if Graham isn't 100% and he's the more intriguing hold in dynasty.

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (groin) didn't practice Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Packers | Jimmy Graham still limited    Thu Sep 12, 06:04 PM

Packers | Jimmy Graham scores in opener    Thu Sep 5, 11:48 PM

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham caught three of his six targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in a 10-3 win over the Chicago Bears Thursday, Sept. 5.

Footballguys view: Graham caught a score on the jumpball pass we were looking for all of last year. This bodes well for his chances of being a TE1 this year. Graham posted a 6-95 in one of the two games last year against next week's opponent, the Vikings.

Packers | Jimmy Graham ready to play    Wed Sep 4, 02:05 PM

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (finger) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 4, and is not on the injury report for Week 1. The team did not practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation.

Footballguys view: Graham is ready to play and if you waited on tight end, you might be starting the veteran. He was a low-end TE1 last year but Fantasy GMs are looking for him to get a couple of more touchdown grabs (at least) this year. Graham should be considered a low-end TE1 who may not provide much upside, especially this week against the Bears.

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (finger) doesn't need surgery, according to head coach Matt LaFleur. Graham will 'be all right,' said LaFleur.

Footballguys view: That's good news for the veteran tight end. He had to leave practice after jamming his finger, and without surgery Graham should be back out there in the near future. There is no question about his Week 1 status.

Packers | Jimmy Graham leaves after injury    Sun Aug 18, 04:12 PM

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (finger) ran off the field Sunday, Aug. 18, after appearing to dislocate his finger, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

Footballguys view: No update on Graham here. He did not return to practice and we'll know more about the severity of this injury when the team releases more information. Some practice reporters called this a 'jammed' finger which sounds less serious than a dislocated finger even though it could be the same thing.

Packers | Jimmy Graham expects more in 2019    Thu Aug 8, 02:00 AM

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham said he expects to be a bigger part of the offense under new head coach Matt LaFleur.

Footballguys view: Graham was not a force in the red zone last year, scoring only two touchdowns. This was after his final season in Seattle where he scored 10 times. We should see Graham have a bounce-back season in 2019. Perhaps he won't get 10 touchdowns, but we'd bet he gets more than a couple. Graham has a current ADP of TE17 (13.09) in 12-team PPR leagues.

Packers | Jimmy Graham wants to silence critics    Sun Jun 2, 10:50 PM

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham said he is motivated to put his struggles from last year behind him. 'I know the player that I am, and I know I still have juice,' Graham said. 'Scoring in the red zone and being that big threat on third down. I mean, I've got to get back to that.'

Footballguys view: Graham is not the player he once was, but he could be in for a bounce back in 2019. This feels like his second season with the Seahawks after his first season in Seattle was well off of expectations. Rookie Jace Sternberger will push Graham for playing time this year but we don't think he'll take over just yet. We're not going crazy about Graham, but he could still provide Fantasy GMs with a quality TE2 in 2019.

Packers | Jimmy Graham will return in 2019    Thu Feb 28, 01:54 AM

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham will be brought back in 2019. General manager Brian Gutekunst said Wednesday, Feb. 28 that he felt Graham had a productive year in 2018, and he is looking forward to what the veteran will do in 2019.

Footballguys view: Graham is no longer the same player he used to be, but he could catch 50 or so passes for the Packers once again in 2019. Last year, Graham caught 55 passes for 636 yards and two touchdowns. That stat line made Graham finish as the no.14 fantasy tight end in standard-scoring leagues.

Packers | Jimmy Graham should be back    Tue Jan 29, 03:11 PM

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham is expected to stay in Green Bay in 2019, according to a source. He is due a $5 million roster bonus by March 15. It was previously reported that the Packers could release Graham to save the money.

Footballguys view: Graham's play generally ranged from mediocre to poor this year, but perhaps another year with Aaron Rodgers under a more creative offensive-minded head coach could revive his fantasy stock. He'll still be well below the optimistic ADP he had last year.

Packers | Jimmy Graham one and done in GB?    Fri Jan 25, 01:01 AM

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham could be released during the offseason, in the opinion of the Green Bay Press-Gazette's Pete Dougherty, a move that would save the team $5.3 million in cap space.

Footballguys view: Graham was not that impressive in his first year with the Packers, even though when he signed it sounded like an exciting match. It was kind of like his first year in Seattle, but Graham finished with 55 catches for 636 receiving yards but just two touchdowns. The lack of scores kept Graham from being a TE1 for Fantasy GMs, and he ranked as the no.14 fantasy tight end (standard leagues) in 2018.

Packers | Jimmy Graham wraps up poor season    Sun Dec 30, 05:44 PM

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham registered three grabs for 21 yards on five targets in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions, finishing with 55 grabs, 636 yards and only two scores.

Footballguys view: Graham was a free agent and fantasy bust for the Packers this year. They are on the hook for more dead cap than they would save if they release him, so he'll probably remain a Packer in 2019.
