Commanders | Aaron Glenn meeting again with WAS Tue Jan 30, 02:08 PM
Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn has a second interview with the Washington Commanders for their head coach vacancy Tuesday, Jan. 30.
Footballguys view: The Commanders could not get Lions OC Ben Johnson as their head coach, but they might get the Lions' DC. Glenn has been considered a future head coach for at least a few years now. After going with a defensive-minded coach in Ron Rivera, it would be interesting if Washington got another like him in Glenn. |

Titans | Aaron Glenn to interview with Titans Fri Jan 19, 10:07 AM
Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn will interview for the Tennessee Titans head coaching vacancy.
Footballguys view: Glenn has been on the fast track to be a head coach in this league. The Lions are playing in the Divisional Round, and Glenn's defense could help them as they try to further advance toward a Super Bowl. No matter what happens with the Lions, there's a good chance Glenn gets a head-coaching gig. |

Commanders | WAS requests two Detroit interviews Mon Jan 8, 10:40 AM
Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Benjamin Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn have been requested for interviews for the Washington Commanders head coaching position.
Footballguys view: Johnson is going to be the hottest name (not named Jim Harbaugh) out there for teams looking for a head coach. Rumblings indicated he was going to command one of the highest salaries for a head coach, even though he's never done the job, but that might just be rumors swirling around. Johnson has made the Lions into a Super Bowl contender with QB Jared Goff. That has gotten him a lot of attention, and we imagine Johnson will have every team with an opening after him this offseason. |

Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn is expected to interview with the Arizona Cardinals for a second time in the near future, according to a source.
Footballguys view: Glenn's defenses with the Lions have not been great, but he's been on the fast track to being a head coach over the last two offseasons. Reports say he's great with players and coaches love him as well. It's that type of leader the Cardinals may want to peg as their new head coach. |

Footballguys view: Glenn has been a rising star in coaching circles for at least a couple of years now. He was getting some interest last year as a head-coaching candidate, and Glenn might get that chance this time around. Glenn is well respected in the building by both players and coaches, but man alive was the Lions' defense a hot mess in 2022. |

Lions | Aaron Glenn officially hired Sat Jan 23, 05:30 PM
Former New Orleans Saints secondary coach Aaron Glenn was officially hired as the defensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions Saturday, Jan. 23.
Footballguys view: Glenn was on the Saints staff with new Lions head coach Dan Campbell for the last five year. He has experience as a player in a 3-4 defense, but coached a 3-4 defense in New Orleans. The team could play more one gap up front and cover 2 (like the Saints have) in the secondary under Glenn. |

Lions | Detroit fills DC void with Aaron Glenn Tue Jan 19, 03:50 PM
New Orleans Saints secondary coach Aaron Glenn is expected to be named as the Detroit Lions' defensive coordinator, according to sources.
Footballguys view: Glenn will have his work cut out for him with the Lions void of talent on the defensive side of the ball. He worked for the last five years with new Lions head coach Dan Campbell and brings a lot of quality experience with him even though he's only been in the coaching world for seven years. |
