Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon had 25 carries in Week 2 and could reach that number again in Week 3 against the New England Patriots. Offensive coordinator Greg Olson has no doubt that his rookie running back can handle a heavy workload. RB Denard Robinson (knee) is out for several weeks and RB Toby Gerhart (abdomen) may not be able to play this weekend. Yeldon will likely be relied on more than he was in the first two weeks. Olson also said he expects RBs Bernard Pierce and rookie Corey Grant to see more work after combining for only five yards on four carries and two catches for nine yards so far.
| Footballguys view: The only problem with Yeldon this week is the chance the Patriots jump out to a big lead and make the running game irrelevant. He does have a three down skillset and should get enough volume to merit an RB2 start anyway. |

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Toby Gerhart and the team are optimistic about his 2015 season after struggling mightily as the main back in his first season in Jacksonville in 2014. The Jaguars drafted RB T.J. Yeldon this year and he appears to be the feature back sooner than later, but the team hasn't given up on a role for Gerhart. General manager David Caldwell said Gerhart looks quicker and faster than ever before this year. The Jaguars think new offensive coordinator Greg Olson's offense fits Gerhart's strengths better and will allow him to hit holes quicker. So far in camp, Gerhart has caught the ball consistently and broken off some nice runs in drills. Gerhart could be productive as a receiver, but Yeldon and Gerhart could share carries with RB Denard Robinson.
| Footballguys view: Anyone who thought Toby Gerhart was held back by Adrian Peterson got a rude awakening last season. To say Gerhart struggled would be an insult to the word struggle. While it's nice to say there is still a role here, it might be as a fullback or backup. Yeldon is the man, and owners clearly understand that given his ADP at round five, as an RB3. Gerhart is not being drafted at all. |

| Footballguys view: Some people thought that once Gerhart got out from under Adrian Peterson's shadow that everything would fall into place. Instead, he fell off the map. Of course, some of that was because of injury issues. Gerhart looks healthy now, has been performing well in minicamps and could be a great fit for the offense. But with rookie T.J. Yeldon looking good as well and Denard Robinson playing well for a stretch last season, moving Gerhart to third-down back makes some sense. There's also been reports of Gerhart playing fullback in 2015. |

Yeldon is the player to highlight as the rookie has the ability to be a dominant runner in the pros. While big, Yeldon is not a pure power runner. He does have build-up power, but his footwork at the second level belies his large size. Yeldon has subtle moves to create space and he can pick up yards after contact. He'll likely be the lead back for the Jaguars with Denard Robinson complementing him as a change-of-pace back. |

| Footballguys view: No fantasy owner should be rushing out to get Gerhart (or any of these guys) into the lineup. We like Johnson's ability the best out of these three. The rookie from UCF has a good all-purpose skill set, and he can be used effectively as a runner or receiver out of the backfield. |

WR Tommy Streeter (abdomen) and LB LaRoy Reynolds (neck) are listed as questionable, while DE Chris Clemons (knee), FS Josh Evans (foot), LB Jeremiah George (ankle), RB Toby Gerhart (shoulder) and DT Sen'Derrick Marks (foot) are listed as probable. Branch, Fortt and Marks did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 5. Streeter and Reynolds were limited during practice, while the other players fully participated in practice.
