NFLPA president Domonique Foxworth said players don't trust commissioner Roger Goodell because of the New Orleans Saints bounty case, in particular. Foxworth added he wouldn't be able to persuade players to have faith in the league even if he wanted to. 'It's pretty obvious that there's a gap in what would be a reasonable amount of trust ...' Foxworth said. 'There've been a number of events to lead players to believe they cannot trust the league.'

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said CB Domonique Foxworth (knee) is expected to make a healthy return after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament last July, reports Aaron Wilson, of NationalFootballPost.com. 'He will be back, he probably could play right now,' Harbaugh said. 'He's spending a lot of time on some of the union stuff, but I know he's also working out, he's training, he's doing great. I don't think we're going to see too many side effects of him coming back early on. He should be full speed right out of the gates.'

Baltimore Ravens CB Domonique Foxworth (knee) is recovering after having surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament, according to Aaron Wilson, of the Caroll County Times. Foxworth announced on his Twitter account that Dr. James Andrews performed the procedure Tuesday, Aug. 10. 'My knee is killin me,' Foxworth wrote following the surgery. 'And almost everytime I eat a lil bit and take pain meds I throw-up.' Foxworth is expected to make a complete recovery from the surgery by next season.
