The Indianapolis Colts agreed to terms to re-sign DT Eric Foster, OG Kyle DeVan, RB Delone Carter, CB Chris L. Rucker and DT Antonio Johnson. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
| Footballguys view: Carter is one of our favorite RBs in this year's draft class. He runs low and has powerful leg drive like Ravens RB Ray Rice, although he's not as fast. Carter can grind on a defense and run through arm tackles with ease. The Colts decided to keep Joseph Addai around but don't be surprised if Carter begins to emerge for them as the season goes along. |

The one-year deals would allow the Colts the ability to match any offer from another team. The Colts would receive a second-round draft choice for Session, but neither Foster nor Muir would provide compensation because they were undrafted players.

Michael David Smith, of ProFootballTalk.com, reports Indianapolis Colts president Bill Polian said the team has no reason to take action against DL Eric Foster after Foster was accused of sexually assaulting a woman. 'We are aware that a civil action seeking monetary damages has been filed against Eric Foster,' Polian said in a statement released by the team. 'The alleged incident was investigated by law enforcement officials at the time the allegation was made. The appropriate authorities decided that there was no basis for charges to be filed.'

The Associated Press reports Indianapolis Colts DL Eric Foster is facing allegations that he sexually assaulted a 22-year-old college student before the AFC Championship Game. In a civil lawsuit, the woman accuses Foster of sexual assault, battery, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Her suit alleges the assault happened Jan. 24 at University Place Hotel at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis. The woman is a student at the school and a receptionist at the hotel. The suit alleges that Foster assaulted her when she delivered dental products to his room.

Sean Jensen, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Indianapolis Colts DT Eric Foster has been accused of sexually assaulting an Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis student the morning of the 2010 AFC Championship Game. The four counts are sexual assault, battery, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Attorney April Board said the IUPUI police department mishandled the case and has forced her client to seek justice in civil court.
