Aaron Wilson, from NationalFootballPost.com, reports the St. Louis Rams have signed undrafted rookie WR Danario Alexander (Missouri) and have released second-year WR Brooks Foster.

Footballguys view: Alexander has great size and is a very fast wide receiver who can get open deep. However, knee injuries have plagued his college career and that's one of the reasons why he didn't hear his name called during the 2010 NFL Draft. He has good upside if he can stay healthy as a pro.

St. Louis Rams WR Brooks Foster said he is completely recovered from the ankle injury he suffered last season and has been able to full participate in offseason workouts, reports Bill Coats, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Foster will be competing for a roster spot during training camp.

Rams | WR Brooks Foster is 100%    Wed Apr 7, 09:01 PM

Jim Thomas, from the St. Louis Post Dispatch, believes that Brooks Foster (ankle) is 100 percent.

Footballguys view: Foster was the team's fifth-round pick last year, but will have to work hard to even make the squad this year. He's not as explosive as college teammates Hakeem Nicks (Giants) or Brandon Tate (Patriots), but he's got sure hands and could make a fine possession receiver if healthy.

Rams | Could have deals with Scott, Foster soon    Tue Jul 14, 03:57 PM

Bill Coats, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams lead contract negotiator Kevin Demoff said contract agreements with fourth-round draft choice DT Dorell Scott and fifth-round draft choice WR Brooks Foster could be completed in the next few days.

Footballguys view: They shouldn't have a problem signing either of these guys before the start of training camp. Scott will play as a backup DE in a rotation on the defensive line with Orien Harris. Foster is a solid possession receiver and could rise up the depth chart in St. Louis behind Donnie Avery, Keenan Burton, and Laurent Robinson.
