Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Kansas State DL Jeffrey Fitzgerald measured in at his Pro Day with a height of 6-foot-3 5/8, 270 pounds. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.83 and 4.84 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.31 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.25 seconds. He measured a 35-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot-9 broad jump and completed 21 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.

Footballguys view: Fitzgerald is a very intriguing prospect, and might provide a team with a late-round value in April's draft. A transfer from Virginia, Fitzgerald has a ton of physical potential because of his athleticism and could play as a left Defensive End or Inside Nickel Pass Rusher.
