Aaron Wilson, of the National Football Post, reports free-agent CB Travis Fisher (Seahawks) had a strong tryout with the Baltimore Ravens and could be signed to the roster as soon as this week. Head coach John Harbaugh said, "He played well, he really looked good. Very solid player, good feet, good technician, works really hard, understands the game. Really picked the defense up quickly, and we threw a lot at him. Travis did a nice job."

Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports the Miami Dolphins have kept tabs and spoken casually with agents about a few unsigned cornerbacks, primarily free-agent CBs Mike McKenzie (Saints) and Travis Fisher (Lions), in case there are injuries in training camp or if CBs Eric Green, Sean Smith and Vontae Davis struggle.

Footballguys view: Eric Green struggled mightily in OTAs, and starting a rookie at cornerback is never a good idea, especially when you face Tom Brady twice a year. The Dolphins would be wise to take a look at McKenzie, Fisher or former Raven Chris McAlister.
