Eagles | Team 'looked into' Dunn last month    Thu Aug 20, 07:46 PM

Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports that Warrick Dunn's agent, Jim Steiner, told the Daily News that the Eagles were looking into Dunn's availability last month, but now that is "old news".

Footballguys view: The Eagles lack of current interest is a big endorsement for Brian Westbrook's recovery from ankle and knee surgery and second-round pick LeSean McCoy's development.

NFL | Teams have reached out to Dunn    Tue Aug 18, 06:19 PM

Steve Wyche, of NFL.com, reports several teams have reached out to unrestricted free-agent RB Warrick Dunn (Buccaneers), but he is awaiting further options before deciding if he will sign with a team.

Footballguys view: The Eagles and Seahawks are two of the teams that have inquired about Warrick Dunn. As training camp and preseason continues there should be running backs that go down with injury, which will open up more opportunity for the veteran. It would be especially intriguing if Dunn is reunited with TJ Duckett and Jim Mora Jr. in Seattle.

Eagles | Interested in Dunn?    Mon Jul 13, 11:53 AM

Jarrett Bell, of USA Today, reports Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid would not rule out adding a veteran running back such as free-agent RB Warrick Dunn (Buccaneers), even though Reid is not concerned over RB Brian Westbrook's (ankle) cleanup ankle surgery.

Footballguys view: The Eagles would only be interested in Dunn if Brian Westbrook's ankle injury is worse than they're letting on. Rookie LeSean McCoy is the backup to Westbrook, and a must handcuff in fantasy football leagues.
