Giants | Week 16 injury report for NYG Fri Dec 22, 05:17 PM
New York Giants LB B.J. Goodson (ankle) and WR Tavarres King (concussion) did not practice Friday, Dec. 22, and they're ruled out for Week 16 against the Arizona Cardinals. S Nat Berhe (hamstring), S Landon Collins (ankle) and DE Jason Pierre-Paul (finger) were limited and are listed as questionable, while CB Brandon Dixon (heel, hamstring), TE Rhett Ellison (groin, finger), OT Ereck Flowers (groin), C Brett Jones (ankle), WR Travis Rudolph (hamstring), S Darian Thompson (knee) and DE Olivier Vernon (not injury related) were removed from the report.
Footballguys view: King being out means that while there are more targets for Roger Lewis and Sterling Shepard, there's also more chance that they'll be covered by Patrick Peterson on any given play. Shepard lines up in the slot, so he's the best Giants wide receiver play this week. |

Jets | Sign Brandon Dixon Wed May 28, 03:43 PM
The New York Jets signed CB Brandon Dixon Wednesday, May 28. Per NFL rules, the length of the contract is four years. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: Dixon has the size to play close to the line of scrimmage. He should be able to excel in press coverage at the pro level, but there is a huge jump in level of competition going from Division II (Northwest Missouri State) to the NFL. Dixon needs to learn how to be a better tackler if he wants to play up to his potential as a pro. |
