Falcons | Other ends seeing more work with Abraham out of action    Wed May 27, 06:02 AM

D. Orlando Ledbetter, of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports with Atlanta Falcons DE John Abraham (undisclosed) missing action during OTAs, the team is able to give more snaps to DL Jamaal Anderson, Kroy Biermann, Chauncey Davis and Lawrence Sidbury.

Footballguys view: The Falcons selected Lawrence Sidbury in the 4th round of the 2009 NFL Draft and he is certainly a player to keep an eye on because his potential as a pass rusher is huge. In the FCS Championship Game Sidbury had an amazing performance with 4 game-changing sacks to help seal the victory for the Richmond Spiders. He was at both the Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl this year and stood out from the crowd in both Houston and Mobile. He is a tremendous athlete that has perfected his "Sidbury Spin" move to get after the QB. It could take a few years for him to develop fully as a pass rusher, but it's likely that the Falcons got a steal in the 4th round.
