Footballguys view: Crowder was a bust in a matchup that should have been better for fantasy. Better the Jets offense swoon and his slump, Crowder should be outside of playoff lineups despite the good matchup against Miami.

New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 6.

New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder said he is 'excited' to have QB Sam Darnold (illness) back on the field against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6. 'Me and him started off with great chemistry, and things were kind of obviously derailed with him being sick or whatnot,' Crowder said.

Footballguys view: Crowder was a PPR wonder in the season opener. As long as Demaryius Thomas can stay on the field, which keeps Crowder in the slot, then Crowder should be reliable PPR WR3/Flex.

Jets | Jamison Crowder cleared to return    Tue Jul 30, 03:42 PM

New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder (foot, ankle) is expected to practice Wednesday, July 31, after he was medically cleared Tuesday, July 30.

Footballguys view: This is the best possible news after he had an MRI earlier this week. Crowder has had injury issues the last two years that have limited his productivity, but this one will go down as a scare. He's still on the fringe of redraft radar, but his presence could help this whole offense take a step forward this year.

New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder (leg) left practice Monday, July 29, with a left ankle or foot injury. He missed seven games last season with an injury to his right ankle.

Footballguys view: Crowder will need an MRI, which is not a great sign. Injuries have been a too frequent part of his outlook and don't appear to be going away in his first season with the Jets.

Jets | Jamison Crowder poised for big season?    Tue Jul 9, 02:06 PM

New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder had an 'impressive spring' and 'looked fully healthy' during the offseason, according to Brian Costello of the New York Post.

Footballguys view: Poised for a 'big' season might be an overstatement. Poised for a 'good' season...that seems to be more reasonable. We love Crowder's ability to get open and provide his quarterback a reliable target on underneath routes, but he's the No. 3 receiver for the Jets behind Robby Anderson and Quincy Enunwa. Add in TE Chris Herndon and oh yeah, RB Le'Veon Bell and you can see how the targets could be spread a little thin for Crowder. Projecting him for around 50 catches in 2019 seems fair.

Jets | Jamison Crowder fits well    Fri Jul 5, 01:40 PM

New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder has run more than 75 percent of his routes in his career from the slot, according to Pro Football Focus. Head coach Adam Gase has said they'll lean on receivers inside the numbers in his scheme. 'He has an explosiveness after the catch that you don't see a ton of,' Gase said. 'A lot of the slot receivers, historically have been not guys that are threats down the field. He's a threat down the field, but at the same time he can catch it and create, which is going to be interesting for us because we've never had a guy who can really juice it up.'

Footballguys view: Crowder is an interesting fit for the revamped Jets offense. He'll give second-year quarterback Sam Darnold a reliable target on underneath routes. The Jets have quite the group of pass-catchers ahead of Crowder in the pecking order. Guys like RB Le'Veon Bell, WR Quincy Enunwa, WR Robby Anderson and TE Chris Herndon should get plenty of looks in 2019. Crowder is currently going undrafted in 12-team PPR leagues, so keep him on your waiver wire speed dial if he goes undrafted in your league.

Jets | Coach praises Jamison Crowder    Mon Apr 1, 02:24 PM

New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder 'has something unique as far as he has an explosiveness after the catch that you don't see (among slot receivers),' according to head coach Adam Gase. In 56 games over four seasons with the Washington Redskins, Crowder had 34 receptions of at least 20 yards and six of at least 40.'A lot of slot players, historically, have not been guys that are threats down the field. He's actually a threat down the field, but at the same time, he can catch it and create, which is going to be interesting for us. We've never had a guy that really can juice it up like he can,' Gase said.

Footballguys view: Crowder can be a dangerous weapon on underneath routes when healthy. Robby Anderson and Quincy Enunwa will line up outside with Crowder manning the slot for the Jets in 2019.

Redskins | Trey Quinn receives praise    Fri Mar 29, 09:24 PM

Washington Redskins WR Trey Quinn is expected to replace WR Jamison Crowder in the slot, according to head coach Jay Gruden. 'But I'm ready to watch Trey Quinn jump in that slot role and dominate the position,' Gruden said. 'I'm excited for him.'

Footballguys view: Quinn should take a big leap forward in 2019. The final pick of the 2018 NFL draft, Quinn reminded some in the scouting community of Adam Humphries. He is a fine route runner with the quickness to get open consistently. Washington has Case Keenum now at quarterback and he likes to throw short-to-intermediate passes. That means Quinn is a player to monitor in PPR leagues this season.

Jets | Jamison Crowder excited for offense    Sun Mar 24, 10:59 PM

New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder said he is excited to play in head coach Adam Gase's offense because of how it utilizes slot receivers.

Footballguys view: Crowder had a disappointing 2018 season, missing time due to injury and finishing the year with a career-low 29 catches for 388 receiving yards. He should be excited to be working with a bright offensive mind like Gase. Crowder could catch around 50 passes in this offense and put up WR4 or deep flex numbers for Fantasy GMs in 2019.

Philadelphia Eagles impending free-agent WR Golden Tate and Washington Redskins impending free-agent WR Jamison Crowder are options to fill the need the Green Bay Packers have at slot receiver, according to Bill Barnwell of ESPN.com.

Footballguys view: Perhaps they could be interested in a slot guy, but they did select three WRs in the 2018 NFL draft. The Packers are going to be interesting to watch with new head coach Matt LaFleur running the show.

Redskins | Washington wants Jamison Crowder back    Mon Jan 14, 05:13 PM

Washington Redskins impending free-agent WR Jamison Crowder, despite his struggles and injury concerns, could demand a contract worth at least $8 million this offseason. Nonetheless, head coach Jay Gruden wants to try to retain Crowder. 'There is really not anything that Jamison can't do,' Gruden said. 'You look at his size and say he's little, but he plays big. He's got great quickness in intermediate routes, can separate, has good hands, he's tough, he's physical in the running game.'

Footballguys view: Crowder could stay with the team for a good price. While talented, Crowder has been oft-injured as a pro and that might keep the market for his services somewhat cool. Crowder played better later in the year, but he was hampered by an ankle injury that caused him to miss seven games.
