| Footballguys view: Crowell is on the books through the 2020 season. He's got a $5 million cap number in 2019 but there is only $2 million left in dead money. If the Jets let Crowell go, they'll be in the market for another running back. Eli McGuire and Trenton Cannon are explosive players but perhaps best used as change-of-pace backs. Perhaps Jets new head coach Adam Gase will explore the free agent market for a back like C.J. Anderson, a favorite of his from their time working together in Denver. Stay tuned. |
