'I'm 100 percent healed from the surgery, so if teams want to bring me in and get me evaluated by their doctors -- or whatever doctors they want me to go see -- then I'll do that for them,' Collins said. 'That was the whole purpose, to let them know I'm still out there and I'm still optimistic about playing.' Collins said he hasn't been examined by a doctor in more than a year.

The Green Bay Packers will not meet with FS Nick Collins (neck) to determine his future until after the NFL Draft, according to his agent, Alan Herman. Collins hasn't received all the medical advice he needs to make a decision about whether to continue playing football following the single-fusion surgery on his neck last September. 'All the opinions aren't in, and I think he's getting another opinion,' Herman said. 'That doctor was not available. He was on vacation, so I'm hopeful soon. But I think he's got another meeting with one of the doctors.'

The Green Bay Packers may consider asking CB Charles Woodson to move to safety in 2012, if FS Nick Collins (neck) is unable to return from a neck injury. However, that is not a given because Capers thinks moving Woodson out of a corner position would allow the opposition to take advantage of matchups against CB Sam Shields, the cornerback who would replace Woodson outside. 'Then you have to decide who you put in outside,' Capers said of replacing Woodson at corner. 'One thing about Charles out there at corner, people if they're going to try to run the ball out there, they're always going to try to crack (on the linebacker) and make that corner try to tackle. It doesn't take long for people to say, 'OK, who are we going to make tackle?' We don't worry about Charles.'

Collins said Sunday, Jan. 15, that he will go through various scans and check his neck's range of motion. After the evaluation, he will make a decision on whether or not to resume his playing career. 'It's cut and dry,' Collins said. 'If the doctor says I can go back, I'm definitely going to go back. If he says to stop, I'm definitely stopping.'

Green Bay Packers SS Nick Collins (head, neck) will remain in a Charlotte-area hospital Sunday, Sept. 18, after suffering a head/neck injury in Week 2 against the Carolina Panthers. 'Nick Collins has normal feeling and complete movement in his extremities,' the Packers said in a statement. 'As is standard protocol, he will be kept in the hospital overnight for observation. When he returns to Green Bay, he will undergo further testing and evaluation.'

'I got an IV and I got back out there with our guys.'
