Seattle Seahawks RBs Thomas Clayton and Vai Taua each scored rushing touchdowns in the preseason finale Friday, Sept. 2, against the Oakland Raiders. Clayton finished with 11 carries for 42 yards and the score, while Taua had seven totes for 31 yards and a TD.

| Footballguys view: Clayton bounced from Florida State to Kansas State in college due to character concerns, but had enough raw talent to be selected by the 49ers in the sixth-round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He's never developed his raw talent, but is a very natural runner who is willing to run inside even though he's most effective when used in space. The Patriots backfield is jam packed with talent, and it will be difficult for Clayton to earn a spot on the final roster. |
