Giants | NY Giants' injury report for Week 15    Fri Dec 15, 03:29 PM

New York Giants OT Evan Neal (ankle) was limited in practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Week 15 against the New Orleans Saints. DL Dexter Lawrence (hamstring), TE Darren Waller (hamstring) and OL Justin Pugh (calf) were limited in practice on Friday, Dec. 15, and are listed as questionable. CB Cor'Dale Flott (shoulder), DL A'Shawn Robinson (hamstring, finger), LB Isaiah Simmons (ankle), LB Cam Brown (hamstring) and WR Wan'Dale Robinson (quad) were limited in practice on Friday but have been removed from the injury report. LB Azeez Ojulari (shoulder) and WR Parris Campbell (knee) practiced in full on Friday and also no longer appear on the injury report.

Footballguys view: Waller could return against the Saints, but a pitch count is possible, limiting his involvement in the offense. Tommy DeVito has been much better than expected, but Waller is still only a desperation play at tight end until we see him get through a game and produce.

New York Giants WR Parris Campbell (rest) was not spotted at practice for a second straight day on Thursday, Aug. 31.

Footballguys view: Campbell is a seasoned veteran who is getting some extra rest. He can still fly, so the Giants should use him as a no.3 receiver when they need to take the top off the defense.

Giants | Parris Campbell taking reps at running back    Thu Jun 15, 01:58 PM

New York Giants WR Parris Campbell handled some individual work at running back during the final day of mandatory minicamp Wednesday, June 14.'I did it some in Indy. But it's really my high school and my college background. It's not new to me. It's something I like to do because they're using me in different ways. I feel like that's something that I'm good at, too. Getting some reps back there is good,' Campbell told Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News.

Footballguys view: Campbell is a speed merchant who could make plays in space. It makes sense to use him as a gadget player from the backfield, although we're unsure how much the Giants would actually use him in that role during the regular season.

Colts | Parris Campbell targeted six times    Sun Nov 20, 05:10 PM

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell ended up with five receptions for 67 yards on his six targets in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Footballguys view: Campbell is going to have staying power in fantasy leagues with Matt Ryan back in at quarterback. He's worth an add even in short bench leagues now and appears to be finally hitting his stride and staying healthy with the Steelers up next.

Colts | Parris Campbell benefits from QB change    Fri Nov 18, 10:10 PM

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell has caught a touchdown in each of the last three games QB Matt Ryan has started, and Campbell has 24 catches on 32 targets in those outings.

Footballguys view: Campbell is doing more than just stretch the field as a decoy. He can still do that with his world-class speed, but Campbell is also getting plenty of looks near pay dirt. With Ryan under center, Campbell is a deep flex for Fantasy GMs.

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell caught two passes for 15 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 9. He was targeted five times during the game.

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell caught seven passes for 57 yards and one touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. He was targeted 11 times during the game.

Footballguys view: The team has stuck with Campbell as a starter despite lackluster production, and he vindicated them today. Campbell reached the ball out to the pylon for a short score and helped move the sticks today. He's a desperation play against the Titans, but his arrow is pointing up as he has finally stayed healthy.

Colts | Parris Campbell returns to practice    Wed Aug 10, 12:38 PM

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell (hamstring) returned to practice on Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Footballguys view: That didn't take long. Campbell is a speed receiver who can stretch the field for QB Matt Ryan. He was out of action on Monday and Tuesday due to hamstring tightness. We're certain the team will monitor him closely upon his return.

Colts | Parris Campbell not on field Monday    Mon Aug 8, 09:16 PM

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell (hamstring) did not participate in practice Monday, Aug. 8, because of hamstring tightness.

Footballguys view: Campbell is there to take the top off the defense. His speed can be quite the asset for QB Matt Ryan, but a hamstring injury can be especially problematic. Expect the Colts to take it easy on the veteran as he deals with hamstring tightness.

Colts | Campbell is the No.2 receiver    Sun Jul 3, 04:52 PM

Mike Wells, of ESPN, reports that Parris Campbell has been the #2 receiver opposite Michael Pittman and he has looked comfortable with new quarterback Matt Ryan.

Footballguys view: Campbell creates buzz every spring/summer and then can't stay on the field during the season because of injuries. It's important to note that second round pick Alec Pierce is clearly behind Campbell, even though the rookie could get an opportunity if Campbell can't stay healthy again. Campbell could hit early if he stays healthy, making him worth a late pick in deep leagues and a spot on the waiver wire watch list in shallow leagues.

Colts | Parris Campbell made a statement in spring    Mon Jun 27, 03:27 PM

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell spent 'a good portion' of offseason workouts working with the first unit, according to ESPN.com's Mike Wells.

Footballguys view: The regular drumbeat this offseason with the Colts is that Campbell has been impressing. We get it, Campbell has plenty of speed and can fly by defenders. Injuries and inconsistencies have kept him from playing up to his potential in the pros. With WR Michael Pittman taking away the attention of the defense, Campbell could set career-best numbers in 2022. As the team's primary slot receiver, Campbell has fantasy value but is currently going undrafted. Keep him on your waiver wire speed dial or take Campbell as a late-round flier in deeper leagues.

Colts | Parris Campbell fully participating    Wed May 18, 02:00 PM

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell has been fully participating in team drills during organized team activities, he revealed on Wednesday, May 18. Campbell also noted that this is his first offseason in the NFL in which he is fully healthy.

Footballguys view: Campbell will battle with second round pick Alec Pierce to start opposite Michael Pittman. He has been a training camp standout in previous years, but hasn't been able to stay on the field.

Colts | Parris Campbell may be slot option    Mon May 9, 06:01 PM

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell likely will enter training camp as the leading candidate for the slot receiver role.

Footballguys view: Campbell has a ton of speed to his game, so he could fly by defenders from the slot. He just needs to stay healthy and produce in the final year of his contract with the Colts. A second-round pick in the 2019 NFL draft, Campbell has only played 15 games over the last three seasons. Campbell missed 11 games with a foot injury in 2021. He suffered a season-ending knee injury in 2020 and a season-ending foot injury in 2019. The Colts should be enticed if he's healthy, but they should expect him to be available for half the season at best.

Colts | Indy not quitting on Parris Campbell    Wed Mar 2, 12:42 PM

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell will compete to be among the team's top-three receivers in training camp, according to general manager Chris Ballard. 'I'm not quitting on Parris Campbell,' Ballard said 'But does it mean we're going to sit here and count on him to be our 2 or 3 right away? No. We will add competition to the position.'

Footballguys view: A second-round pick in the 2019 NFL draft, Campbell has not been a factor in the pros due to injury. He's only played in only 15 games during that time and has multiple season-ending injuries. They'll add competition and if Campbell can stay healthy he can be part of what they do. If not, the Colts are ready to move on.
