Los Angeles Chargers LB Jatavis Brown (ankle) and RB Branden Oliver (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 5. OT Joe Barksdale (foot) and WR Mike Smith (back) were limited, while OG Matt Slauson (tricep), TE Sean McGrath (foot) and OT Russell Okung (groin) practiced in full.

Los Angeles Chargers LB Jatavis Brown (foot) is scheduled to meet with a doctor to have his injured foot examined and probably will not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 4, according to head coach Anthony Lynn.

Los Angeles Chargers LB Jatavis Brown likely will move to weakside linebacker in the team's new 4-3 defensive alignment. Brown was used as an inside linebacker when the team used a 3-4 defensive alignment in 2016.

San Diego Chargers CB Craig Mager (shoulder) is listed as doubtful for Week 15, while WR Jeremy Butler (ankle) and OG Orlando Franklin (rib) are listed as questionable. Mager did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 16. Butler was limited during practice, while Franklin fully participated in practice. DE Joey Bosa (neck), LB Jatavis Brown (knee), FS Dwight Lowery (hand) and SS Dexter McCoil (ankle) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.
