Free-agent TE Brandon Bostick (Jets) has been suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season, according to Howard Balzer of BalzerFootball.com. The reason for the suspension is unknown at this time.

| Footballguys view: We've said this for a while. There was brief hope this summer when he came into OTAs and had worked with Brandon Marshall to improve his catching. Since then, though, he has struggled to hold onto the ball. The front office which drafted him is gone, so this GM and coach have no reason to keep him around. We don't see the Jets as a team which produces fantasy tight ends worth rostering anyway, so no matter who is there on the roster, they shouldn't be on yours. |

DE Mike Neal (abdomen), DT Ryan Pickett (knee), LB Brad Jones (ankle) and LB Nick Perry (foot) are listed as probable. Bostick did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 20, while the other players were limited during practice.
