The team also placed RB Rodney Anderson (knee) on the Reserve/Injured list, placed CB Darqueze Dennard (knee) and OT Jonah Williams (shoulder) on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list and placed OG Alex Redmond on the Reserve/Suspended list.

Cincinnati Bengals TE Moritz Bohringer, S Demetrious Cox, C Brad Lundblade, TE Andrew Vollert and WR Kermit Whitfield were signed to Reserve/Future deals Monday, Dec. 31.
| Footballguys view: In super deep dynasty leagues we'll keep an eye on these guys. Böhringer, the most interesting prospect here, is a German-born player who was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He was the first European player to be selected in the NFL Draft without playing any college football. Size and athleticism are hallmarks of his game, but Bohringer needs to work on the nuances of the position after transitioning from wide receiver to tight end. |

Minnesota Vikings WR Charles Johnson is likely competing with WR Moritz Boehringer for a spot on the roster, according to beat writer Matt Vensel, who also mentioned that Johnson had a strong spring while working mainly with the first-team offense.
| Footballguys view: Johnson created a ton of buzz last offseason, but was banged up and never followed through in the regular season. Boehringer has a ton of size/speed upside, but he has only played as high as semi-pro ball in Germany and is more likely a practice squad candidate. |

In 2015, Boehringer had 59 receptions for 1,232 yards and 13 touchdowns in 16 games played but it was his pro day that really got Draft Twitter abuzz. He reminds many in the scouting community of Jeff Janis (Packers) because of his size (6'4" 225 pounds), speed (4.43 40-yard dash) combination. |
