The New England Patriots signed free-agent RB Kenneth Farrow (Chargers) for their practice squad on Wednesday, Sept. 12. To make room for him, the team released WR Jace Billingsley.
| Footballguys view: Undrafted out of the University of Houston in 2016, Farrow has spent all of his pro career with the Chargers. He was waived by the Chargers back in April and had to wait this long to find work. The Patriots lost Jeremy Hill (ACL) for the year, plus they have both Rex Burkhead (concussion) and Sony Michel (knee) banged up. Even though they added Kenjon Barner earlier this week, they must have wanted another body at the position. Farrow is a no-nonsense runner and decent receiver out of the backfield. |
