Buccaneers | Uncertain future for Kendell Beckwith     Wed Jul 8, 10:39 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB Kendell Beckwith (ankle) was activated from the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list in February, but he is not a lock to make the 53-man roster in 2020.

Footballguys view: Beckwith has missed the last two seasons because of a fractured ankle suffered in a car accident. Last year Jenna Laine of ESPN tweeted that she believed he was "likely done with football", but Beckwith's activation opens the door to him continuing his football career after a promising rookie season in 2017.

Saints | Two linebackers visit New Orleans    Sat Apr 15, 10:10 AM

Louisiana State LB Kendell Beckwith and Vanderbilt LB Zach Cunningham met with the New Orleans Saints last week.

Footballguys view: Cunningham is swift and does a good job in coverage using his length and burst to make plays. Beckwith is more of a physical player who will see his draft stock fall due to an ACL injury in bowl preparation last year. While Cunningham is likely to be a first-round pick, we could see Beckwith fall to the third or fourth round.

NFL | Kendell Beckwith won't work out    Sun Feb 26, 10:13 AM

LSU LB Kendell Beckwith (knee) will not work out at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine because he is recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Footballguys view: Beckwith is a powerful middle linebacker with the versatility to work in both a 3-4 or 4-3 defense. His coverage ability is already in question based on film study, and this knee injury could further cloud his potential when asked to cover backs out of the backfield.
